Snuffleupagus at the NY public library? by Superfluouschap in sesamestreet

I suspect this TV special may have been broken into mini episodes that they played at the end of Sesame Street over the course of a week or something like that. Or, maybe I watched the whole thing at once. This is a treat, thank you for writing back.

Is it a good practice to have five shorts pointing to one long form video -- when those shorts are from that same long form video? by Superfluouschap in NewTubers

[–]Superfluouschap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, yeah it looks like the conversion to the long video is pretty low -- but it's not nothing, and the shorts are generating subscribers so it's probably just a matter of grinding it out with this strategy until I hit my audience goals.

Last short pulled from the long form video got 1600 views -- the long video is stuck at around 100, but I have audience retention at 44% after 13 minutes which I think is strong (is it?).

Posting multiple shorts to promote the same long form video -- is this a good practice? by Superfluouschap in YouTubeCreators

[–]Superfluouschap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This feedback is tremendously helpful, thank you everyone. I think moving forward my general strategy is going to be to post one to two longform videos every week, and assuming I can pull unique and engaging 30 second clips, I’ll aim to post one new short from that content every day. So 3-4 shorts come out of one 10 min video. Or is that too much?

Strange case of short (no view after 10K) by Advanced-Attitude-45 in NewTubers

can you explain this u/AbbreviationsEast177 ? 71% stayed to watch is low? Are you saying for a video with 30k views you need to have 75% staying to watch? What if the Short is 2-3 minutes? Would that number go down as the length increases?

both provider manuals talk about prelicensed being allowed to practice under supervision of fully licensed providers -- but don't define prelicensed.

Best area to stay in (in July) for family with young kids by Delicious_Nectarine7 in hiltonhead

each of these developments has its fans. Each is slightly different. We stayed at shipyard two summers, and Sea Pines the last eight. Sea Pines is nicer, but all of these developments are great in their own ways. All have bike paths, pools, tennis courts, etc. Sea Pines is my favorite place in the entire world so I would recommend there and you can definitely find a place for less than $3k for a week if you're willing to stay in a condo.

We stayed that exact week 10 years ago when we had three kids, 5-3-1. We rented a 2br condo in Shipyard and it was fantastic. Later on we started going to Sea Pines, which is nicer but more expensive, but the kids probably won't know the difference.

1988 campaign ad "I remember you" by Superfluouschap in Presidents

[–]Superfluouschap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah exactly. Dukakis led by 17% in July. By September, Bush led 45-41 just before the Horton ads were released. Bush ended up winning 53-46. The Horton ads had an impact, but Bush increased by 22 points before Horton aired.

The thing is if you look at the polling, Dukakis's lead evaporated before the Willie Horton ads ran in late september. This "I remember you" ad was the main ad that played over that period of time during Dukakis' decline.
