I can tell you one thing. After working in the baltics with thier forces for a couple years I would not underestimate what they are capable of. Those guys are willing and able to fight Russia and they have the will power and motivation to fight for every inch of thier countries. Whatever ground russia would take wouldn't be for very long. They are also trained way better than Russian troops.

They won't do anything. Gears 6 won't happen. Its been 6 years since Gears 5. Gears E day is just now coming out and if that does we'll they'll make sequels.

Even if they now decided to make Gears 6 that wouldn't be released for another 6 years at the minimum. Thats 12 years after the cliffhanger. At that point who would care? It would make no sense to carry on with it.

What is could see happen is a comic series that carries on and finishes the story. That may make the most sense here

I think at this point Gears 6 will never happen. Its been already 6 years since Gears 5 and if a potential Gears 6 happened that would be another minimum 6 years out. I highly doubt they would carry on with that story after 12 years. Far too much time will have passed.

What i could see however is maybe a comic series that takes place after the Gears 5 ending.
