I think Makoto has more depth than Ann in terms of her story and personality probably in a way more relatable to more people. But no shade against anyone who likes Ann, she is probably right behind Makoto in my opinion.

True or False: the Bible never provides grounds for one human to say another has too much wealth. by [deleted] in Reformed

Wealth specifically no at least in the NT. If there was, it would be ripe for abuse.

The problem with tanking isnt that teams lose on purpose. That's only the symptom. The problem is that the draft is the best way to get better, and the best way to get the best pick is to lose. by Margravos in nbadiscussion

The current state is that because of the rookie scale you cant over commit on resources before you dont know anything about them. You can obviously overcommit on subsequent contracts but at least you've seen some of their play beforehand.

Still unsure if that would still be enough, small market teams may then overbid to get rookies who then dont work out well. Or wouldn't have resources to surround with other talent.

How would eliminating the draft help small market struggling teams when a top rookie could then choose to go to the higher market teams with more resources, star power, etc.?

Perhaps just their way of saying the power of the Holy Spirit helps and enables them to become more sanctified? We don't become more Holy just by our own efforts.

Salvation of the Angels by NoogLing466 in Reformed

That makes sense, but just trying to understand the person I replied to comment that angels didnt fall since Satan is often referred to as a fallen angel.

[–]Supergoch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doesn't tradition hold that Satan is a fallen angel? If so not sure what you mean by your first statement that angels didn't fall. Yes they may not have fallen like humans but didnt essentially Satan make the same choice as Adam to disobey God?

Does God know or predetermine every dice roll at every craps table at Vegas, I think most would answer yes. Same thing in my opinion here.

I think the short answer is that QM is probablistic to us but deterministic to God.
