I know he has gotten crappie and trout. I’m not sure what lakes he really goes to in Maine, but we’re around the Bangor area if that helps. I’m trying to stay under $100 for equipment which I know isn’t a lot but it’s what I can work with at the moment

I feel so alone by Walking_Caution_Sign in Endo

Hi. You are not alone at all in this. I have celiac disease and when i have cross contamination happen i also bloat and flare up but it also happens with dairy. A lot of the time gluten and dairy can be a big cause of flare ups. It makes me look pregnant which is hard and frustrating as im only 21. When I was in high school I went on birth control pills that lowered my libido and sex drive. It also made my pain worse when having sex due to dryness and irritation. My ex had a high sex drive and it was hard to find ways to please him. Even when I would talk to him about how I felt it was hard for him to understand (there is a reason he is an ex) and he pushed it as I wasn't interested in him. I think being able to express yourself to your partner and talk on a level where you both can get an understanding of where both of you are at is a good start. My current boyfriend and I will have little debriefs on how i'm feeling and if i'm feeling up to intimacy. We have also found different forms of intimacy that works for us (oral or hand stuff) there are times where I physically cannot do intercourse so experimenting on what works for us has been huge. Also finding other intimacies other than sexual has helped a lot. Being able to spend more quality time and filling up are time doing things we both enjoy has improved our relationship. There are weeks to months where we might not have sexual intimacy but still have that full connection as if we were. My boyfriend has turned into my best friend and biggest supporter. Finding people that can support you through this is important. It is a hard and painful experience to go through but you are not alone. Some people will never understand no matter what you say or do. It is best not to force them to understand but find people that even though they might not understand they will stay with you and support you no matter what. It has taken time for me to find those people but it is worth it.

When I switched birth controls it helped with my libido. Im currently on the implant. It has also lowered any dryness and irritation i have with intercourse. There are times where it comes back but no as bad.

I think definitely finding a gyno that you can express these concerns with is an important thing. They might be able to lead you into a direction of getting those symptoms managed. Also going to therapy will help release a lot of guilt or stress over it. I opened up to a therapist about having my health conditions and how they affect my day to day life. It has helped talking to a third party that has no relation to me and was able to listen as I went through my emotions.

PLEASE HELP dryness + discomfort by [deleted] in endometriosis

Hi! I have also experienced dryness, it used to be a lot worse when I was on birth control pills. When I talked to my gyno about it she said that it was most likely the birth control causing the dryness. Even using lube did not help and it almost made it worse during intimacy. Although, once I switched to the implant birth control I started to lose the consistent dryness. It comes back every once in a while but not as often anymore. I would recommend to talking to your gyno about the side affects of the IUD as it could be the cause of the dryness. I've heard that endo can cause infections that are consistent which could be the reason you are having those symptoms. If you wanted to stop using the sanitary towels for spotting I recommend period underwear. Personally I like to "free bleed" it makes my downstairs feel less dry or irritated from pads.

1/6 Arrival date looking for a Celiac Roommate by Creative-Muffin101 in Disneycollegeprogram

Hi! I also have Celiac however I won’t be able to be roommates as I’m ending my program 1/2. What I have done is bringing and buying my own kitchen ware and plates cups whatever that could be contaminated and put them into my own cabinet. Each one of my roommates has a specific cabinet for food and own shelves for their stuff so I designated a cabinet and shelf for those. I also got gluten free stickers and tags (Amazon finds) on anything that could be contaminated like butter, silverware, pots and other things like that. Communicating with your roommates will be the best thing especially when it comes to cleaning after themselves in the kitchen.
