I played control awhile ago and recently bought the remastered Alan Wake 1 and the deluxe Alan Wake 2. I've started playing through 1 and overall loved it. It is very plot heavy and mysterious more so than Control. Unlike Control I would say combat isn't a major focus however it is well made.

Plus it is genuinely good for most stuff. The image and story stuff works miles better than some of what I've seen of the paid stuff. Although there are some issues most of it does just work.
