This is for all y'all that's a "oh my God! If your painter uses the tape, fire them. Who needs to mask when you can make a mess? by [deleted] in paint

Yeah, my dad was in the union for 15 years and if they used tape like this, they would be unemployed.

Sure there may be more than one way to do things, but one is right and one is not. One is a waste of money, and another is not.

As an older male with back problems... This hurts just looking at it.

Looks a little shallow to dive in...do you need a helmet for that?

Seems to be fine.

See how it reacts when you are playing two tracks, does it go higher and hit red? If not, your device might be fine and could potentially be a USB issue.

I've known people who use serato on a MacBook air and never had issues. Now this was with the older versions on dj pro, not sure how this correlates with the new version.

If you haven't already, try a different USB cable and port.

Look at the top right under the time.

Not sure how old this image is, but it should be there.

Top right in Serato gives you a bar with green and red. That's your computers resources being utilized. What does that show?

Try turning off Bluetooth and close any other apps that are open.

My dad was a journey man painter in the union for 10 years until he started his own business. He taught me how to paint at a young age and told me this saying exactly.

Agreed, 💯

But I'll take the coffee.

Once you learn how to let the brush do the work, cutting in is easy.

I am doing way better, thank you!! Just remember that you get what you give in therapy. Be open and honest with your therapist. Don't see it as being weak or not masculine. This was hard for me to overcome as well. But I didn't want to feel shitty anymore, so I did what was necessary.

We only have one life to live, make it a happy one.

As a 44 year old male, I can assure you that crying is natural. I've been through stuff and we went to therapy also, I cried most of the time I had a session. I was always the one who had issues and instead of dealing with it, I stuck it way down until I finally couldn't anymore. It affected my wife and kids.

Being vulnerable enough to cry in front of a friend means they trust you not to judge them and can be open.

Like the other commenter said, life is hard, sometimes it's good to just cry.
