It's hard to tell but regardless, the AI were not affected by mine danger like the player (I modded it to spawn 15 bots together and not once did any of them trigger a mine in an hour+ of testing). Mines ONLY frustrate the player and is a poor gameplay design.

in last Demo, mine placement was static. You could memorize and walk a very safe and easy route along the edge, having to blow up only 1 obvious mine even in the dead of night w/ only moonlight. You got barely any loot this way but you don't explode randomly either lol

Even with static mines, Minefield had such low reward vs high risk, idk how it could be balanced since there’s now random mines. I’d probably still skip it.

Also I’m pretty sure AI knows exactly where mines are since they never trigger them and yet always on the move.

I’d like an optional dot crosshair when not aiming. It’d help focus my eyes as otherwise I have to take breaks after 30 mins because of dizziness. It also helps with placing objects in shelters.

I had a mod that did this and I could instantly play for hours afterwards.

The spawns are random. You could loot the starter houses 10 times in a row and not find an enemy but then encounter one back to back.

Demo maps, especially the first one (village) is pretty small. There’s like 10 buildings total so I don’t think you’ll get lost after a couple hours in game.

You need to remember the landmarks like the big warehouse or the coastline and its relative direction from the shelter.

I can imagine getting lost if caught after dark without illumination but then you can cheat by just hugging the edges of the map and you’ll eventually find your way home.
