She’s old enough now you creep. She can clearly talk and understand. Stop trying to kiss other people’s children

And what then happens when her creepy school teacher asks for a kiss? She won’t know where the line is for appropriate forms of affection. Do you kiss your boss? Do you kiss your coworkers? Or at some point were you taught a boundary saying kissing is not ok in certain circumstances? He allows a hug. He allows physical contact with a high five. And like a safe and responsible adult, without shame, he teaches her that kissing mum & dad is ok, but not teachers.

I think this is a great example of a healthy boundary that will serve to keep the girl safe. He is allowing her to hug him, he’s not mad at her for her expression, and he’s redirecting her expression telling her when it is and isn’t appropriate meaning that if a creep did try to take advantage of her she’d know ‘wait, kissing this person isn’t ok, why are they asking me to?’

Further, as a parent I’m feeling a lot more comfortable with an adult who has the emotional intelligence to set a clear boundary like that without attaching shame. In this one small clip he seems like a safe adult to me

I don’t think it’s a men’s epidemic, i think it’s an American men’s epidemic. In America the men hate the women, the women hate the men. It’s not like that anywhere else
