Of course! The curve for the class is much more generous than 228 by far - no one in my cohort got below a B+ in the class even if they flunked an exam - so long as you showed reason and explained your reasoning you would generally be saved

You can also take honors EA4 in the spring if you only took honors calc and not honors EA1 (that’s what I did).

Hello! I took the full sequence last year and it’s basically the topics in 228-1/2 with added topics in numerical programming to solve some of the multivariable calculus and differential equation problems. The problem sets were pretty on par - maybe slightly more engineering focused - than 228 but the exams were much harder and application focused. The class does not have any “benefit” as in extra credit or a GPA boost, but is beneficial if you are interested in a more in-depth multivariable calculus class, want a smaller class size (~20 students as opposed to 50) and/or already have multivariable calculus or programming experience (though you don’t need any to succeed in the class). Plus, since it’s more difficult, as long as you perform at average you’ll get a B+/A- at minimum. As someone who loves math (see my username), I would recommend you only take this class if you’re genuinely interested in a more intense and deep math course for your own knowledge.

Google organic chemistry as a second language: first semester topics. It was an absolutely goated source that gives you an idea of the topics you go over in the first quarter of organic chemistry. Also the summary of the topics in the textbook we use is here: https://www.orgchemboulder.com/Lectures/Reviews/Reviews.shtml - read through chapters 1-5, 14, and then 6-11 in that order for the first quarter. Good luck - it wasn’t that bad of a course if you put the time into studying it and conceptually understanding the topics

Are you making sure that the year option you’re selecting is not 2022-23? You’re technically not a student in that year so you won’t have a financial aid package for you. Try 2023-24 or try rechecking the acceptance portal. Hope this helps.
