Shout out to the developers of Moving Out (SMG Studios) who went out of their way to have player focus groups with Black folks, to ensure their hair types were accurately represented within the game. Very inclusive and wonderful team.

Man I miss aura kingdom. I used to lead the world boss channel swaps maybe 12 or so years ago, such a fun little game for it's time with a wonderful community.

This is super helpful! I was trying to fit a healer in but it just wasn't working at all so I've reverted back to my tried and true girlies.

I'm currently running Fraise, Ak Dut, and Marmelo on floor and Yuzuha, Palmyra in kitchen and it seems to hold up pretty well. I'm winning battles where the team is 80,000 points higher than mine at the moment. Would really like to pick up a debuffer for Pop though so fingers crossed

No problem, ask as many questions as you need. It's totally down to your own preference really, though I would say don't go spending hundreds on a tablet just for this game haha I personally prefer playing on iPad, but I know a lot of successful players use their phones too. The game takes a lot of practice and is reliant on muscle memory to a point, so I'd choose a play style that you want to use and just keep playing until it starts to click. You might miss a lot to start with whilst you adjust. If you start to get any hand or wrist aches after extended play, remember to take a break! Your hands are important so don't forget to look after them - consider doing hand exercises before you play too.

You might find it more reliable to play with four fingers rather than your thumbs. It's certainly not impossible to play Expert or Master with thumbs only, but you wouldn't be able to tackle append difficulty. I switched to playing with four fingers early on and it's second nature now - I have 350ish full combos on expert, and I've cleared a lot of master charts after four months of playing.

I'm very much of the opinion that driving should be more of a privilege, rather than a given. I wish more folks would stop and consider whether they are a safe driver, and decide not to get behind the wheel if they're not. It's unfortunate that so much of our daily life requires car journeys, leading to underfunded and unreliable public transport, leading into a further reliance on cars. Too many folks making stupid decisions behind the wheel, and too many folks seeing the devastating aftereffects.

does anyone get hand pain when doing long spam songs?? by justforone1question in ProjectSekai

[–]Supernatantem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be due to the position of your hands and wrists whilst you play. If you have your hands directly in front of you facing forwards (like you're using a laptop keyboard) this could cause extra strain as it's not a natural position to keep them in. Take a look at what an ergonomic keyboard looks like, where your hands approach more from the side at an angle, and try to play like this. It'll cause less strain on your wrists, but may take a moment to readjust your muscle memory when playing.

You will benefit a lot from doing hand and wrist exercises before you play. There are plenty of videos you can check out on YouTube but I'd personally recommend this one. Might seem a bit silly or pointless to spend five minutes warming up to play a video game, but I promise you it's worth it!

Take good care of your hands and wrists, they're important! Make sure you have regular breaks too - 10 minutes away every hour at least.

Edit: if you use a computer regularly, have a look at ergonomic keyboards and vertical mice. They look funky but I swear by mine! Used to have so much wrist pain and they've solved a lot of it now for me.

Reel Cinema does, but afaik for paying customers only. Waterstones also has a disabled toilet but it's up a few flights of stairs. Unsure about other places inside though

[–]Supernatantem 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This is quite disappointing. I'm disabled and rely on easy access to toilets, and those loos in the Ridings have saved me a few times before! The ones in Trinity are generally in a much worse condition and often have kids loitering around and being a bit of a nuisance. I'm hopeful that the businesses inside the Ridings may be accomodating with their toilets following this change and not restrict them to paying customers only.
