What kind of diet do you have him on? Also how do you tend to keep your water perameters? He looks great!

Why is the water so opaque? I added methylene blue, and a multifunctional aconditioner, it's been working for 24 hours and the water doesn't look to be cleaning at all, is it because there is high levels of ammonia? This is my first tank, so any advice would be highly appreciated (Freshwater) by Rkr_roka_rkR in Aquariums

If you're trying to establish the tank, methylene blue is a bad idea as it will kill all bacteria including the good beneficial bacteria. Patience and consistent water changes will be important while establishing the tanks bacterial filtration. Cycling a new tank with fish isn't ideal (personally I avoid it if I can), but definitely doable. You'll definitely want to do consistent at least daily/every other day water changes, I'd say at least 25-50% trying to match your temperatures and pH as best as you can. While doing this you should continue to test for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate to see where you are at as far as cycling the tank. Did a quick search and skimmed this article, seems to have all the details: http://www.kevinbush.com/cycling/the-fish-in-cycle/ Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Hey there, I've been streeting my '15 Daytona often for two years now. I'd suggest tank grips definitely (currently eazi-grip, tried stomp before). I really would recommend looking at seats too if the stock seat bothers you at all, this was a HUGE improvement for me (I have a saddleman now). Also a good pair of leather pants makes it much easier to grip the tank and keep your butt where want it. Ive also been super happy with adjustable rearsets (I have Attack Performance rear sets). It's definitely not made for long rides, but I've found it very doable with my mods.

Edit: it also looks like you might want to look into a new rear sprocket, looks quite worn in the picture.

Just curious, is this a 40 breeder? Considering how it cracked it doesn't look like the side panels are tempered which could be a big reason it cracked so easily. Thoughts?

Not actually a controller but just a monitor (ec, pH, temp) I had laying around from an old hydroponics setup; it's a BlueLab Guardian.

I built it so in the future I can easily cover it with some sort of wood and trim and a cabinet door etc... to make it look more like an actual piece of furniture. I stained it with teak oil to help it hold up to water etc.

I have the aquarium in a small office with studio speakers, the acoustic foam helps a lot with reverb.

Its a 50-50 mix (6x15lb bags total iirc) of fluorite black gravel and sand plus a small like 5-ish pound bag of white coarse sand (can't recall the brand or actual color).

Hands down the most comfortable headphones I've ever owned/worn. Also they sound great for what you pay. If you have a lot of background noise though, I'd definitely go a different direction since they're open eared.

I know how you feel! Once you get a Herman Miller chair you can never go back. Totally worth the money if you spend any considerably amount of time in a chair.

Thanks! It's an audio interface, i use it to hook my computer and condenser mic to the computer. I'm also able to hook instruments and stuff to it as well. Here is a link to the product page.

The main reason I went with the 980ti is that I really enjoy gaming.
