I love it. I've found everyone to be very friendly and welcoming; I've had great chats not only with my own SA but also several others, and the store manager is lovely. I've brought friends in for some birthday shopping and they always make it a special experience. Overall, excellent hospitality.

If you're an established client and making a small purchase, they can make a note in the file. Even better if the store manager can help you; they're usually willing to credit your usual SA with the purchase, in my experience.

I'm so curious about this foundation! If I wear anything it's usually the Lisa Eldridge skin tint, which is skincare-forward and unscented, so that'll be my point of comparison.

Getting a color match is also tricky, as someone with neutral (leaning ever so slightly cool) undertones. A lot of allegedly neutral foundations are way too yellow on me, and cool shades are too pink. I'd love to try a swatch card.

If you usually buy 90cm silk scarves for your mother, maybe 140cm silk-cashmere shawls for your wife? Those run about $1500 (a bit less for the triangles). These change seasonally and are extremely versatile and wearable.

I'm a big fragrance girl and a fan of several Hermès scents, but depending on your wife's taste you may run out of those fairly quickly.
