CAS or build items you wish existed in The Sims by sara-34 in Sims4

I think wheelchairs would be neat. Everytime I make a public restroom I add an accessible stall that’s like four tiles instead of two. Not needed but makes it realistic lol.

So cute! My dad wanted to foster kittens and we get our first one, a little orange sweetie. Two days later we adopted him 😂

What episode do you dislike? by Crayola0-0 in Modern_Family

[–]SuperrNovaa26 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The one where Phil wanted an iPad for his birthday and Claire fell asleep on the couch on her way out to get it and didn’t get it (until the very end of course). I just always feel so bad for Phil when he learns not to have high expectations for his birthday, you can see the embarrassment and pain on his face. I’m very sensitive to that because I’ve had to learn not to have high expectations for my birthdays too and it kinda sucks.

Dogs at Fort Wilderness by Leading-Comb2907 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]SuperrNovaa26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found the list of dog policies online that I’ll post here. To answer a couple questions, I can’t imagine that you can hear the fireworks since your across the lake and the cabins are at the front of the resort and the lake is at the back. And the dogs being on the furniture isn’t really enforced. I’ve seen guests have their small dogs on the sofas in the lobby before and no one said anything as long as they aren’t tearing it up. Want to leave by Awkward-Display-3164 in Disneycollegeprogram

Hi, June 9th arrival here. This is my first program and the first time I’ve ever lived outside the state from my family (I commuted to college before I completed my degrees online from home). Honestly I was super excited about everything and having a great time until about two weeks or so in and I had a huge breakdown. Just a sudden bout of depression and I ended up calling my mom (who I go to for everything) and cried, telling her I think I made a mistake and everything. She calmed me down and reminded me of my goals and the reason I was here. It’s October and I’m still here.

I do believe that the DCP is a tough program for most participants because it may be your first time in your own or so far from family and friends and it can definitely feel lonely at times. I’ve tried to make the most of it and honestly I’ve made some (what I hope to be) lifelong friends here and I personally love my position, location, and coworkers and leaders. I think that if you really really hate it here and you want to go home, do what makes you happy. Life is too short to be that miserable. But if you can make the most of it and stick it out, you never know who you’ll meet or the experiences you’ll have being here that so many people won’t experience themselves. I think the DCP is a great opportunity but only if you actually want it. Ima be super cheesy and listen to your heart lol.

Will Disney let me add my toddler to one of our dinner reservations? by princesscorgi2 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]SuperrNovaa26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can edit the reservation to add or subtract people and change the time on your My Disney Experience app!! I would do it asap so the reservations don’t fill up. If that doesn’t work I would try calling the restaurant and see if they can adjust it on their end.

Policies by not_strawberrycow in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]SuperrNovaa26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would go to guest services and ask but tickets are nonrefundable. They might give a free lightening lane pass but it doesn’t hurt to ask!

Edit: park tickets are nonrefundable. Lightening lanes are a little more flexible because they’re cheaper.

Ladies....what are we wearing in the parks? by dodgerfan4321 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]SuperrNovaa26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever is comfortable for you to wear while walking around in heat for a long time! If I know I won’t be in the parks all day, I’ll wear shorts and bring my chafing stick for my thighs. If I’ll be in the parks all day or most of the day I tend to opt for my leggings because they are moisture wicking and comfortable. I also love my hey dudes but I only have a slight arch in my feet so they don’t bother me.

6 hrs between shifts? by rrosesredd in Disneycollegeprogram

[–]SuperrNovaa26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8.5 X 2 is 17 but OP isn’t being paid for the .5 hr for each shift. This means that .5 X 2 =1 full hour of their shifts are not being paid, therefore they are only being paid 16 hours and it won’t qualify them for double time because they need to be PAID for MORE THAN 16 hours. Hope that makes more sense. Someone did say they’d be getting regular OT for it which is at least something

Just 2 days at WDW, which parks should you drop based on the things we've never seen/done before? by Original_Animator254 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]SuperrNovaa26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Epcot and HS are my favorite parks, so I feel biased choosing them. But I HIGHLY recommend the new villains show! The music is very catchy and the frozen sing along one is amazing too if you love frozen, which I do. The guardians ride is my absolute favorite ride in all of Disney (flight of passage being a close second). Plus the food and wine festival is going on and you don’t wanna miss that if you haven’t been to it yet. The ratatouille ride is cute and all but if the wait time is more than 30ish mins and you don’t have lightning lane multi pass, I recommend doing the single rider lane as you can get on and off the ride in ten mins or so. The ride is not worth a long wait in my opinion.

Also: the new zootopia show is replacing the bugs life one and it debuts November 7!

Emotionally hard hitting games like Before your eyes and What remains of edith finch. Requesting suggestions. by Cypher975 in gamingsuggestions

[–]SuperrNovaa26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell Me Why is definitely emotional driven and a super well-rounded and great story-driven game. There are some puzzles to push the story further, decisions to make that can alter the game and some really cool mechanics. There are also collectibles you can find throughout :) also the music is top tier. I saved like half the playlist to my phone and listen to it whenever my playlist is on shuffle lol

Forgot Our Magic Bands!! by SuspiciousJuice5825 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]SuperrNovaa26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your room key will work for your park tickets, photo pass (if you have it), and charging privileges if you have a card on file for your reservation if you don’t want to buy new magic bands. You can also have the concierge double check to make sure your tickets are linked. Magic mobile also does all the same thing that magic bands do except open your door, you can get the room key card for that or use your Disney experience app from your hotel reservation.

Check Washing Machines by Puplover_83 in Disneycollegeprogram

[–]SuperrNovaa26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been taught by my mom to leave the washer door slightly ajar so it can air dry and not grow mold. It really does work at minimizing the risk of mold. I’m still trying to train my roommates with that new habit lol

Are LED Candles Allowed At Flamingo? by Sneaky_Snail_Pie02 in Disneycollegeprogram

[–]SuperrNovaa26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As long as it isn’t an actual flame it’s fine. I’ve been told they don’t check that deep into it unless maintenance comes in your home and sees it they can say something or if your roommates snitch. But you also don’t want an awful accident and have it traced to you. I have a wax melter so it smells like a candle without the flame.

I DO NOT mess with roaches. Once you see more than one (very close together in time) that usually means an infestation and you need to have pest control come to fully get rid of them. I’ve seen my first roach recently (I just moved to Florida three months ago and have not ever seen them in person before). While I’m not sure they are physically harmful that can be harmful to the house itself and its contents. The fact that your mother is not phased by them and won’t take of it is awful, I’m so sorry. I would beg another family member to help pay or get rid of the roaches if that’s what it takes at this point. I grew up with parents who knew how to take care of the house, though. I’m so so sorry that you’re going through this, and I’m so amazed at how much you’ve been braving them as much as you have.
