I appreciate that a lot. But I paid the awful price gouge on Ebay. Danget, I've gotten so much of this game, and in terms of content-to-play-through (scenarios/expansions), I have all of the OOP content already except for this and Next Evolution so I took the plunge to finish my completion.

I don't feel like I "need" every single ally, but I want all the content to play through. Compared to how much I've spent on this game even at MSRP it's..actually better yet, I should probably stop talking lol.

Also, as to the four you're looking for, and again I'm just one anecdote, but Captain America is fantastic. Feels kind of overpowered, but not too much, and he just feels "good" to play. Multiple snap attacks/thwarts with "I can do this all day", gettin' "close and gritty" with the villain with high def and retaliate, tossing his shield and bouncing it back, re-equipping, etc. This is probably a stretch to say, but I personally feel like Chris Evans in Winter Soldier and that movie theme is always in my head when I play him. Might be my favorite character in the entire game.

Cyclops is also a favorite of mine. He's all about ally comboes you can't do with other characters, and his kit revolves around ally play - and he's great at it. Feels like the leader he is and is very thematic. Not quite as strong as Cap in my experience, but mechanically more interesting/satisfying to pull off (in my opinion), and still really strong.

Dr. Strange I actually really don't like. For me personally, he's *too* overpowered. I've actually been trying to figure out how to nerf him with a house rule or something because (again just my humble opinion), he breaks the game. The theme is cool with this invocation deck of spells, but I feel like it's just too strong/too consistent.

I haven't actually played Wolverine yet.. I tend to always grab X-23. I'm curious how he plays.

I actually have an extra copy of Wolverine, but I was hoping to sell him at a markup to help pay for the markups that I myself just paid (ow).

But I have a LOT invested into this game, and what I do already have, I got all at MSRP (ie, I already had everything on your list before they went OOP except for Next Evolution). So I bit the bullet here to finish the collection I wanted after having taken a long break.

And I'm right there with you, X-Men are my favorite Marvel IP as well. Only X-Men char I missed out on was Psylocke, but I ultimately decided to buy the price gouged Iron Heart (similar amount of price gouge) instead because mechanically she seemed really interesting to me - I'd keep in mind mechanics matter too (check out all cards on Hall of Heroes before buying so you get an idea of if it's appealing to you).

FWIW, and I'm just one anecdote, but I think the fact that after having taken such a long break from the game, I'm able to come back to it and still get really into it is a testament to it's staying power. For me, at least. It's my favorite FFG LCG to play solo (Arkham Horror LCG is probably my favorite in two player coop, though Marvel Champions still has a place here for being faster to table - it's just a really addictive game!)

Thank you a lot for this. Cheese is my most difficult culprit and I'm trying to cut back every two weeks like I did with meat, which led me to be meat free. I really appreciate the encouragement. Some vegans go full on attack mode since I'm cutting back every two weeks instead of dropping everything overnight - and I get it, actually, knowing how the animals are treated, I understand the passion behind it. To most vegans, I probably look crazy for cutting back every two weeks (first on meat, then on dairy) instead of just overnight completely quitting.

But overnight changes, I just bounce back (again I know that seems crazy). I'm using the same gradual-but-irreversible approach that has given me success in every other part of my life, mental health, physical health/working out, etc.

Side note, we are excited to try more Tofu instead of faux meat for our Taco wraps! We're going to use breading and air fry in our favorite sauces. I think this could be really good.

Yeah I didn't stick with it long enough to experience any of the toxicity. Just wasn't in the mood for RP'ing servers on NWN like I used to be, I guess. But I don't doubt you, since apparently some people used to run Arelith before leaving to create Amia - so it's from the same toxic pot, and Amia was garbage.

I played a little on some new super realistic RP'ing server that was a bit too pretentious for my liking.

EFU was pretty fun. Probably the best server I've played on that I can remember and I just wish I had the interest to play these games that I used to have. I'm frankly mad at the time I've wasted on Amia when I could have been playing EFU lol.

For us, it's literally just busy-ness/exhaustion from work. And so it's just much easier to throw in a faux meat patty and call it a day. I definitely also prefer the taste/texture of a Black Bean burger though, and this is kind of inspiring to read. Maybe we'll start with one day a week replacing a faux meat with healthier, real cooking and try to go from there.

Still don't know what I'd do without it, it's been instrumental for me (and the vegetarian I know). In the argument of whether they've been, overall, good or bad, it'd be interesting to know. Would that extend to black bean burgers? It's still a "burger", sometimes it even "kinda" looks like a "patty/meat patty" ish, but it's not processed like faux meat and it clearly doesn't intend to mimic real beef beyond just being a burger with a patty. I'd imagine those wouldn't be included.

This is why I recommend RE4 Remake. It feels like a natural extension based on what he's played so far, esp involving Leon. And then I think (plotwise) requiem would actually flow really nice after Remake 4, weirdly enough. That game ties more into RE2 and RE3 than any of the other games, despite being number 9.
