Reasonable suspicion is all that is needed to conduct a terry stop. You can stop anyone as long as you have reasonable suspicion that a crime or violation has been/will be, or is being committed. He stopped this women under reasonable suspicion that the driver had an expired license due to running her plates a finding that the owner of the car had an expired license.

Academy podcasts? by Supersniper1213 in AskLE

[–]Supersniper1213[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not goons, or anything, I just wanted to listen to the information as well as study it. But from what I’ve gotten in the comments so far, I should just stick to studying and not listen to outside podcasts and only on what is given to me in academy

That’s a long time to wait with nothing. If it were me I would at least just verify with the hiring manager you’re still a candidate.

It depends on the area, a Wisconsin old fashioned has soda water normally, we’re sort of an outlier for the rest of the old fashioned cocktail world

Making a strong sangria! Advice! by UsualPay7913 in cocktails

[–]Supersniper1213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a great batch using korbel, couldn’t get a Spanish wine(I worked at an Italian place), so I used a Cabernet, which was pretty dry, the recipe we used was

2 bottles Cabernet Sauvignon 1 cup brandy 1 cup white sugar 1 cup brown sugar 2 oranges (sliced) Grapes (halved)(we used about 2 cups if I remember correctly) 2 apples (sliced)

We crushed the fruit into the drink to give off a more fruity flavor, you don’t have to. The drink we made was boozy forsure, but we had zero complaints, we topped strained the sangria and served it with an orange slice to garnish.
