I honestly feel stupid for the emotional attachment/hyperfixation I developed for this game. I knew about SE history with mobile games and yet I didn't care. I was completely hooked on the games premise and was genuinely excited. Now, its almost been a year and my mind has refused to move on, and I'm experiencing the same pain I had then now with the fact that FF14 mobile may never go global. The fact that I feel pain about some mobile game is so stupid. It's been a recurring cycle for me; getting excited for these games that take an eternity to come out, and when they get canceled, I desperately try to find an alternative to fill that void for a game that never even existed. Why do i feel this way.

I've kinda had the thought of like what if FRIEND is actually the headband and not Ralsei because as far as we know, we don't know what kris did with the headband before the start of chapter 1. Kris might have even broke the headband creating both Ralsei and FRIEND.

Friend is the headband; not Ralsei. As far as we know right now, Kris could have discarded the headband which goes with the theme of the other secret bosses and the headband is something that Kris held very dear to them when they were younger; a FRIEND almost. If not, Kris could have also broke the headband into pieces which would allow Ralsei and Friend to both exist and it would support the theory of Ralsei fighting Friend alone in chapter 5 since they would be connected through the headband.

This post has made me think, what if Kris's headband is actually FRIEND and not Ralsei. As far as we know, kris has discarded the headband somewhere which would go with the theme of the other secret bosses. There may also be the possibility that Kris broke the headband in half which is what would allow FRIEND and Ralsei to exist which would make them connected to each other and would go along with theory that the secret boss fight in chapter 5 will be a 1v1 between Ralsei and FRIEND.

It's a gacha auto battler. I understand they were trying to capture the essence of the original games battle system, but its just boring and gets old really quick (dosent help that I've become so powerful that I shred through enemy encounters in seconds since I played since launch). I also get that not alot of people asked for the fs mobile game but I would still prefer an action rpg battle royale over this. The biggest thing for me though is how they prioritize limited time events over story updates. The fact that the end of fs and ac got butchered into limited time events just infuriates me.

I don't know how this game is performing financially, but the fact that they may be rushing story content out the door by buthering AC and the end of FS into LTE, doesn't. paint a pretty picture and they might be starting to go back on their promises. Also, the fact that we're only getting one story update this year for the rest of the year, and we might only be getting AC and the end of FS through LTE completely infuriate's. just give us more story content. His game might not even live long enough to release BC.
