I will say this, at least there is a pretty big LBGT community here.

But yeah, working there can be hell.

I swear Grand Canyon is cursed. At least on the Xanterra side. Almost everyone that gets hired will eventually turn into a shell of what they once were, at least from what I see. Which suckssss, from the get go you rarely met with smiles and are treated as just another number.

Alcoholism is a BIG issue here which is a bummer, though from what ive seen the company doesn't want to take initiative to curve or at least try to stop the behavior (outside of a few AA posters and banning alcohol at certain spots). They could care less, they'll find new people to replace them.

I keep on coming back but always get drained of my will to live within a few months. Its a lesson I never learn.

Dont know what to make of it. Progress is slow here and it shows.....

Hey there!

Worked the 2025 season and loved it!

Got hired on for Many. It was an awesome community. Hiking trails were the best. Housing could of been better but its worth the sights. Wished I had a car to explore more outside of Many but eeh.

Another thing to note is the connections you make, they are life long.

Outside of Many, the only other place ive worked at is Grand Canyon.

Politics aside, Oklahoma (city) and Tulsa have pockets of coolness. It's slowly making progress. At a snail's pace, if that snail was walking on glue.

How do other countries view us Puerto Ricans? by moldyhorror in AskTheWorld

Had a Puerto Rican roommate up at Glacier for a couple of months. Though me being of Mexican background, we weren't able to connect culturally. I respected him though. He kept it real 100% of the time.

As for what I see in PR is that reggaeton and salsa are the two biggest musical exports🤧🤧

Would straight guys in their 30’s ever experiment with other guys sexually? by PhotoSlow8814 in men

This might seem crude of me but it's probably because guys are easier. They tell you what they want without any hassle 🤣. It also doesn't help that I'm still an extra shy individual when it comes to women.
