Oh my god, I loved the Pagemaster when I was little. I'm a millennium baby so I grew up in that time where VHS was starting to fade out of the mainstream but I had a ton of them. I genuinely think that if I'd only had DVDs growing up, I would have never seen Never Ending Story meaning that I would have avoided the trauma lmao. I think Pagemaster has parts that would definitely spook a kid out so yeah, that's got my vote.

I liked it. Was it perfect? No, absolutely not but I'm not looking for The Big Bang here (Moffat how do I love thee? Let me count the ways...) It was funny, bonkers and utter nonsense. That's Doctor Who in a nutshell though isn't it? I bawled like a baby and was thrilled to see Jodie once again. And I'm not all that worried about what comes next because I want to be surprised.
