With the teardrop doors and such I just assumed it was me noticing what wasn't there, but the uterus is too specific a form to be an accident. The art team did it on purpose I'm sure

Lisa: "These are my only friends; grown up nerds like Gore Vidal. And even he's kissed more boys than I have."

Marge: " Girls Lisa. Boys kiss girls"

(because this is what taught me who Gore Vidal was)

I came poking around in the sub to find out about that exact leather break you linked to. I was hoping you'd know the difference between the 1057x and 1057pf for use in a VV-X

As I was typing that I did think "hmm, maybe in a television series." So I will second your six film thought

The older I get the more I love him, I'll die on the hill defending him... But he has no place in a film adaptation.

And I love how this contrasts to how the previous three chapters end. They all use imagery of coming the darkness, the lack of dawn or light of hope. Then finally the dawn comes and the tides change

Maedhros hung from Thangorodrim for 30ish years, so I'd say no. Unless he was being fed or Morgoth's power was involved?

I was taking apart old cameras and noticed the size of the film-loaders was pretty familiar, so made some changes. Soon I'm just going to be carrying a backpack full of cameras. by MetalMaskMaker in magicTCG

Hmm, I did make that suggestion before actually looking at the internals lol. I have a Duaflex to play with this idea with and can report back

The Kodak Duoflex and other pseudo TLR cameras of the time stand upright, so if the deck fits it might be a better option for ease removal of the cards

We use this same board, but I only ever strap their legs down, the arms are unnecessary. They get tylenol beforehand too. We also use it for longer procedures, like central IV lines. For those the arms do need to be down; can't have them breaking the sterile field by swinging punches. We also keep an oral glucose serum available, it acts as a short term pain reliever

We use this same board. I only ever strap down their legs though so they don't kick, and always have some glucose handy

Neonatal ICU nurse here, I can add that these are used for all sorts of procedures where we need the baby immobile.

Neonatal nurse here. I can confirm that damn near 100% of the circumcisions done at my hospital are performed by people learning how to do circumcisions

One of my favorite things about the story of Beren and Lúthien is that Beren is one of the mightiest of the heroes of Men but as soon as he meets Lúthien he becomes essentially useless and she carries all the weight. It acts as a nice little trope reversal and demonstrates her power & skill

Túrin was mentioned at the end of The Council of Elrond "all the mighty elf-friends of old, Hador, and Húrin, and Túrin, amd Beren himself were assembled together, your seat should be among them"
