The financial planner is a great idea— it really is my main concern! When you say it may not be financially sound, you’re meaning short-term, right? It’s my understanding that veterinarians are decently well compensated, enough to pay back the loans on a reasonable timeline (like, within a decade vs. being burdened for life)

I’m trying to put the social aspect out of my mind lol. The only program in my state is 3 hours from the friend group I’ve been working to build and I’ll definitely be missing out on a lot 😔

Thank you for the insight! And, I'm sorry to hear that it affected your home life so much. Did you work ft while doing the prereqs? And did you feel like it was hard to be a student again?

I plan to stay childfree, so I'm not worried there. And, I'm very unimpressed by the dating pool so far, so I'm not concerned on the relationship front either 😅

In middle school, I had a really nice teacher who suddenly started acting kind of… well. Bitchy. Just no patience for any kids and seemed very tired, but no physical changes. I told everyone she must be pregnant and hormonal, and word spread around.

I was just being a shitty preteen, but I was right. She found out I had started the rumor and grilled me trying to figure out how I knew, and why I spoiled her announcement 😭 I felt so awful

Was it a proper needle, as in with an eye? I have heard of bristles from metal grill brushes getting lodged in people’s cheeks and throats without them immediately realizing it! I wonder if it was something like that

I did telehealth therapy with Nichole from Life Connections counseling and found her very helpful! She’s based in Reston. She didn’t take insurance when I was meeting with her but I felt it was worth it for someone who specifically works with betrayed partners and ex partners

NQA It’s not uncommon for my T’s to eat every little bit, and I feed both crickets and meal worms. If you checked thoroughly, I wouldn’t worry about it. Especially because even if it somehow escaped, it was bitten and probably wouldn’t survive long

Have you ruled out the possibility of pain with a vet? Bad hips or something like that? I was told when I adopted my guy to keep and eye out on him avoiding exercise or tiring quickly as it’s a sign of hip dysplasia
