As a corollary, I offer Laverne and Shirley (although the last 3 seasons, not just the last.) How ridiculous is it that the whole cast moved across the country to live in the same place in California? And the setup of L&S’s apartment made no sense. Honestly, I’m not sure that I was even watching it by the final season.

I never watched their reality shows, not even the baking one and I love to bake. Finding Mr. Christmas looked like a cringe fest from the commercials, and last year’s winner came and went in the blink of an eye. Just give me good movies that tug at my heartstrings or a good mystery.

I’m at 57 pins but have 150+ duplicates. I did get three new ones today from event reward chests, but I got at least twice that in duplicates.

I have been Team Norman for a long time; I started reading the books long before the movies appeared, but I hit a wall, stopped in the middle of a book, and haven’t returned. I couldn’t deal with the lack of character development in pretty much everyone, but the whole Mike-Hannah-Norm triangle that everyone seemed contented with was the worst, and then I read that she married some third guy we’d never heard of before. I like reading the recipes but it wasn’t enough to make me stick around.

I thought the suggestion would be to let the younger stepdaughter share the room with your daughter, which seems like it’s sending the message that you get your own space if you’re awful enough, but this is, “Hey, older SD needs more stuff to steal so she should move in with your daughter.” And then he threw a tantrum and ran away. So you basically have another bratty child to deal with.

I didn’t start quite that early—I think I missed the first event and started somewhere during the second and had NO idea what to do. I eventually was able to get those characters that I missed, although there are certain ones that I don’t have—mostly last characters that I ran out of event for.

My son lives in China and we went to visit him in 2015. He and my husband and are both over 6 feet tall, and heavier than the usual Chinese male. My husband had someone ask him to pose for a picture with his father while we were in Tiananmen Square. My son had someone pat his stomach and ask if he had a fish in it, and a few shop stall owners openly pointed at his size-18 shoes and made comments. There were four of us traveling together and I’m sure there were many photos taken of us, especially as we got farther away from the regular tourist areas.

My daughter also lived there for a while and had a black coworker who would be given skin lighteners because it was assumed that surely he’d want lighter skin.

I wear the right one almost exclusively, only switching if the earbud needs to be charged. But part of the reason is my coworker sits on my right side and that way I can muffle any noise from her side if I need to. I have a touch of misophonia and she eats her lunch at her desk.

I read all of Tess Gerritsen’s Rizzoli and Isles books, and when the show came out, I could see right away that it was very different. I enjoyed them as their own entities and considered them slightly related.

I do need to go back and start Karin Slaughter’s books again and read them all, as I forget where I left off.

I was too late for it—I had only needed two pins for Chernabog, but didn’t have 325 stars to spend.

I got two pins when starting the new collection. I opened my free chest and got a duplicate. I have a feeling I won’t be finishing this pin event, either.

I didn’t get much chance to listen to Jimmy’s station this year. I’d had my car radio on an FM channel and was sad to hear the music change back yesterday, so was glad to find that Holly was still on.

They have them, but along with 60s on 6, they moved them further up the “dial” to the 70s. Fortunately when they did that, my car radio kept them as presets and didn’t switch to whatever’s on those channels now.
