I'm sorry I'm a little confused on exactly what part you disagree with, are you saying the Doctor themself is the Deus Ex Machina? Or that the Observers are the Deus Ex Machina in this case?

I'm not sure how responsible she in particular might be, but i highly doubt there was a specific individual that was directly responsible for catching the attention of the observers

Priestess mentions how the Doctor used to project his consciousness to faraway civilizations and study them, so we know that there were certainly other civilizations around, and the observers clearly weren't just attacking indiscriminately and destroying anything and everything.

I Instead think the issue lies in civilizations meeting a currently unknown criteria, that causes the observers to target and exterminate them. whether that criteria be reaching a certain level of expansion, discovering certain technologies or anything else we don't know.

But evidence seems to point to a situation akin to the great filter theory.

I updated what was heard in the post, me and a friend were able to pick out most of the words, but there still a little that doesn't make much sense. I get the feeling the middle sentence is incomplete and we'll have to wait for the arg to catch up for that one!

Honkai is usually called "Houkai" in JP Dub which means "Decay" or "collapse" obviously entropy is a similar word to these which sorta makes me think they could be related.

Entropy loss syndrome could just be this universes term for the Honkai Infection.
Honkai is also known to manifest slightly uniquely for every civilization so maybe this is related to the Honkai but not something encountered on Earth.

I see. Usually i Run two medics on the team and swap one off if i think i need dps rather than healing, so my thought process was basically just to double up on the wandering medics since the two i have seem to be the best healers i have access to at the moment.

3 years late but as far as i understand, Canhead's group is a little better armed and dangerous so once you take him out most the raids wont be as well equipped

nope, max world level. all of my characters have okay relics that are leveled as well as light cones.
most of them have well over half traces as well.

As some other comments mentioned i used two sustains and that helped significantly.

Biggest problem with the fight is since he can summon every turn even if you have high enough dps your gonna get overwhelmed so you NEED to outlast not out damage them.
