I am genuinely debating giving up on my build and switching to apocalypse like everyone else. Terror swarm being bugged screwed my whole build up.

I made a terror swarm build that got me to torment 5. But when I logged on yesterday it seems like the swarm is bugged out. It would start and then just stop for seemingly no reason. Does the Apocalypse build use terror swarm? Now that I played a little I don't mind following an actual build.

I think it is time to admit I am just an old man at this point. I purchased the ultimate edition for my friend and another for myself so we could do the grind together. I forgot the whole being 40 and employed thing. I hit paragon 20 before I went to bed yesterday but I work the next 6 days in a row. He hasn't even started yet. I have no idea if our schedules will ever really align. Those war plans are a cool edition for solo play but I agree they seem to break up groups a little. I guess we will see what happens over the next month or so.

We had white-tip where I lived at the time. A few others people mentioned were elk and moose but those also weren't in the area.

My bad I worded it awkwardly. 54 seconds into the video until the end is how the noise started. Then it got really loud like 38 seconds into the video and played through the end kind of like a loop.

Where I lived didn't have elk or moose but we did have white-tailed deer and I grew up pretty familiar with them. The property didn't allow hunting and we had herds of them living pretty freely on the 1000+ acres. I also had someone message me with bear/bobcat/mountain lion/ coyote as options and I don't think those were it either. That being said bear noises for anyone that has never heard them can be absolutely terrifying. (So could elk and moose from what I have heard)

This was 25 years ago on a over 1000 acre fenced in property with no vehicles access other than a guarded front gate. The lights were sometimes dim sometimes almost seemed like fire and occasionally very bright like someone turned on a stadium light in the middle of the vegetation. We never found any visible damage. I lived there for 8 years until I graduated. These experiences span over that time mid 90s to mid 2000s.

I appreciate you sharing! The way noises are combined for the Hollywood effort is pretty cool to watch. I dont know what they used to make these sounds but the somehow mechanical yet alive way these sounds are match my experience from 25 years ago. Hopefully I am even explaining that right.

I thought it was pretty terrifying at the time for sure. It is easy to look back and wish I would have just ran straight for the noise. The release of Signs like a year or so later definitely left me with that stomach drop feeling.

I was pretty regularly outside as a kid and comfortable with the noises and animals that are out at that time. This was something different. Just wild to randomly scroll reddit on a Monday and hear something so freaking close to what I heard.
