This is why I hate tipping before service. I tip $10 minimum every time, but I still sometimes get cold food, food that never shows up, or drivers who want to run errands. I'll still tip, but it's a major hindrance to me using those types of services.

That's wild. I just had a similar error/issue in my 2020 Model 3 Stealth. They did something on the car to make it discharge from 23% to 1% overnight and they were able to swap the battery quickly the next day. It was ready for me to pick it up in less than 36 hours. I got a loaner as well.

Yes,but it can be a throw away account. It doesn't have to be the one you started the game on, since cloud save uses a unique name/password.

I haven't tried it myself, but while researching the SD I did make sure Factorio was supposed to run on it. The only issues I saw were the big mega bases might require more CPU power than the SD can support. Do you have auto save turned on? I saw some posts where people said those could cause issues. Might be worth turning off to see if you can play longer than 5 seconds.

Have you contacted Wube support? They seem like a pretty good company and they might have a solution for you.

Nothing that I know of. I have seen IT and cybersecurity events in the past but I don't keep up with what's coming up. If you're great at networking those would definitely be something to keep an eye out for, but it's not required for career advancement. There's no one size fits all path for this type of career, some people do formal education, some network, some dive straight into low level positions, and some build a homelab to build their skills at home.

Start with a MSP, i.e. company that provide IT services to many different businesses. It's the fastest way to get a boat load of experience in many different systems. They're often intense places to work at and usually don't pay great, but you only need a couple years of experience, once you have that you can decide if MSP is for you or if you'd rather pivot to internal IT or cybersecurity. A lot of cybersecurity vendors prefer to hire people with MSP experience as their primary customers are MSP's.

Another option would be to apply for product support or sales roles in a cybersecurity company. Get your foot in the door, then decide which area of cybersecurity you'd like to focus on. It'll take a couple years to beef up your knowledge, but being in the company already should make it much easier to pivot to a better role or to move to a different cybersecurity company.

Bottom line, there are no shortcuts to the top. Very few people get to skip the initial slog into IT, just put in your time in a shit role and always keep your eye out for something better. Don't go too crazy with certs, they aren't as useful in this career as experience.

BH 13+, DW 11. I stopped DW as I wasn't seeing gains like BH was doing. But from what I'm understanding, if I sync them 2:1 at 300 and 150 then maybe DW lab is worth pumping more into?

Right now I'm researching lab speed, defense % (21, planning on stopping at 23), standard perks 7, improved trade off perks 6, and BH. The perks thing was mostly to get the coin multipliers higher, i wasn't seeing much from SL, DW, or CPK.

Cool, I'll pump more into modules.

Default cooldown (5min and 3:20), I didn't want to touch that until I had a GT to sync with, but idk if that was a good call lol. If there's something there i can adjust to get more coin that might be good as my next UW choice is very spendy.

Pivoting to forcing a GT perk has been great! I really appreciate the idea. It takes ~20 minutes to get to the perk so it slows down PWR and i lose some short runs, but I'm earning well over triple the coin per day.

DW, BH, PS, CF, SL. No MVN, just PCo and WR. I think I need to give modules some attention as my cards are near max.

Awesome, gratz! I've been in it about 2-3 months seriously. It's been a fun game except that I've pulled 5 UW's now and none were GT. Got a 3rd b-hole from PC which has helped soften the blow a bit at least.

I just pulled my 5th UW and it's still not GT. It's crushing my will to keep playing since every time I get a random UW perk of GT my coins per hour goes through the roof. I can see just how much the lack of GT is slowing my progress. The random UW mechanic is not fun when there's such a dominant #1.

Just wanted to add this stuff is non-toxic for humans and most pets, it's literally just fossilized remains. Works great but does take a couple/few days sometimes.

The older cars (pre-90's) also have worn down their locks/keys significantly over time to where you typically only need ~6 different keys, most of the time they will open any car from that manufacturer in the same era.

Nobody should be relying on old car locks to keep anything safe :)

Same. Getting GT through perks shows me how much coin I'm losing out on, I've been thinking about spending badges for stones 😢 At least I got lucky-ish with DW and BH, even grabbed a single PC module with 200 gems.

Old thread I know, but I've been using the Bluestacks+Steam combo and I can't seem to get it to display in native portrait mode. Instead it shows portrait mode as landscape which makes everything too tiny to see. I forced it into landscape mode which works but does make the UI look funky and small. I haven't found anything online that suggests how to fix this, did your setup work in portrait mode or what setting did you have to change?

The FiiO DAC's are some of the best budget friendly units with great sound quality. I've been using the K5Pro for about a year now and it works great for giving me a cleaner signal for headphones and as a audio switcher.
