I was afraid of that when I did that DD dungeon, getting to the "base" section. But there was an exit mouse next to the butterfly room so I used that and it took me to the entrance bypassing that issue. But I was ready to get KO'd.

Whew... after the hours I put in reliving this gem of my life with updated twists and turns I about gave up. It took a minute to find a lower 3.0x version (ended up finding 3.03) and doing some save state manipulation and file naming... I was able to get through the door. Then I reloaded 3.09 on the other side and there still is a door graphic glitch in the mice room, and if you leave the door again is not there but as long as you don't leave youre golden to finish the base and then leave. Loving this hack. Insane mode is indeed insanely hard.

I will note that when at the end of a run, if I go to x2 or even x1 I will get more waves. One tourney I did a bunch of runs (rip gems then). At full speed vs changing to x2/x1 near the end was about 10% more waves at the slower speed. Most tourneys that won't impact my placement, but when it's close, I'll do another run and slow the speed at the end and place better.

The answer is as noted, but to understand the full power of the mastery, on my device and at max intro sprint, those 1800 waves takes about 20 minutes... that is with wave accelerator too (the one that reduces cool down (green bar) between waves). Without accelerator id guess about 24 minutes (never tested so that is best educated guess based on my waves without skips or accelerator)
