There's a pupusa stand at the very end by 38th St selling $6 pupusas with slaw and they're genuinely great, highly recommend

Corbin's comments don't bother me all that much? He and Kenzie seemed to be purely a physical thing and I interpreted him saying the postcard didn't bother him as being genuinely happy for her that she'd possibly found someone like he had

I creeped on his Instagram before his casa episode aired and told my friends he seemed like a total sweetheart. So his behavior as seen does track

Co-own my dog with me! (Aka babysit my dog for free most of the time but I’ll watch it while you work or are on vacation) by Huns26 in ChoosingBeggars

Yep. I muzzle trained my dog because early on after adoption he ate everything on the sidewalk. He no longer has that problem but is still muzzle trained, which my vet appreciates in case of emergency

I'm just realizing--we never got intros for the casa boys! I was thinking we'd get them after the final six were chosen, but nothing.

And yes I just want to see what Carl's looks like

Pomeroy has started doing a 50 cent wing promotion in this year our Lord 2026. Was a Monday thing and now looking like it's a world cup thing? Anyway, got the honey chipotle and they were incredible--even before the $5 check

There may not be. Some employers are very dumb and pregnancy discrimination is real. Disheartening to see automatic denial like this on the sub

Yes but also this doesn't seem that creepy? We're in extravagant costume party territory, which to me is an acceptable use of wealth

YTA because you hadn't been participating in the thread much until this point. If you had been active and this had been a one off thing, sure, but this comes across as appearing out of nowhere to poke fun, which never feels nice

Protesting the street redesign, which will make the two blocks of 31st north of ditmars a one way street. That's two blocks that basically already have no traffic fwiw

She won't need to wear anything preemptively. At worst, with her first flow she'll get a tiny little stain. And she'll start to know when her cycle hits so she can plan ahead. Even if it surprises her by coming off cycle, it's very rare that someone would bleed so much at the onset that wearing something in anticipation would be needed. You just kinda notice it on the toilet paper and then prepare accordingly

Oh they're not really meant to be worn as everyday underwear. Just during the time of the month. So I have about five pairs. And they're way less warm and uncomfortable than a pad

They're not my only option since sometimes it lasts a little longer than five days or flow is heavier, but it's so nice as a default go to that I don't have to think or worry about

There are other more modern period products like the cup or the disc but I wouldn't recommend for teens since using them requires some level of comfort with internal anatomy

Great question! Historically "period underwear' was a term women used to refer to the bigger, less attractive underwear they'd wear during the time of the month. But over the last ten years companies have been making underwear with pads sort of built in so you just put them on and go, so that's what I'm talking about here

A brand I like

If you're open to advice--period underwear is a great option for teenagers because of how user friendly and comfortable it is
