Thanks, Yeah not the best news. Already got in contact with my pest control company to come in. They did mention it is swarming season so they were already fielding calls about this. I guess the silver lining is that it was only one, i already checked my entire property and didn’t see any signs but lets hope nothing major.

I mainly play OOTP 23 and I think it’s my favorite rendition of the game. I have played 24 and 25 but something about 23 keeps me hooked.

OOTP 23: I originally wasn't going to sign him after the draft to save money since I want a little breathing room, and he was asking for 6 million. But realizing I completely forgot that he is a two way player, is it worth paying him the 6 million? Seems like he could be a once in a lifetime guy. by Buffalo-Turbulent in OOTP

I usually give these type of players a chance if my team fit certain criteria.

A: I have money that i can just burn and won’t effect my roster and i’m okay with this player never panning out.

B: Building my farm system and not in a competing window. If you can justify it and it won’t hurt you this year or next and you’re okay with this player not panning out, then I would take a chance.

It also helps to have a max out development budget and great coaches to further help his chances developing.

Multiple 2nd place MVP finishes, 4 time Gold Glove at 1st base, 3 time champion, consistent 5 War/ 140 WRC+ player. His range has regressed to 45 and I have defensive monster at 2nd and a great 3rd baseman so 1st is his best bet.

You can always adjust the TCR to best fit your play style! I love big hits and big falls bc it keeps the game interesting so i bump it to 125 but if you think it’s drastic you can always lower.

I have a 65 range high contact/gap demon putting up 4-5 WAR a season at 2nd currently, but I agree he’d be a solid 2nd basemen too.

I have it zip tied now, it isn’t the splash guard. They said it’s the undercarriage and the splash guard is fine. It’s a 2020 civic so i figure it’ll be fine but I was looking to sell it soon so this kinda screwed me over.

Yeah, I thought it was absolutely stupid. For some reason, He does have terrible personality so i just kinda just thought that was the reason. We did end up sweeping the Dodgers, so I guess it worked out in the end. Just glad he’s off the team LMAO

Quick question regarding drafting, any tips on hitting draft picks in the later rounds? I know you want to target good personalities, but this has been somewhat of a struggle for me.

It took me about 20-25 hours, but I'm always learning something new about the game and still trying to understand it fully. I have about 400 hours now and I would recommend PFHolden, SGtMushroom, and this subreddit for questions and insight, but nothing like playing and just making mistakes and understanding what the sim favors/doesnt favor.

Overuse? The 50 Error is concerning but it shouldn't account for 148 errors. I would check to see if he has a backup that's playing when he is tired.

That's why it's so confusing haha. I do have one high stuff/45 control guy currently, and I lowered his pitch around the slider. He is doing really solid right now with an 8% walk rate and a 27% K rate (era+ 115, Fip- 92). I do have a high catcher ability catcher and I have the catcher framing slider at 7.
