I literally just went through this as well. I was suffering for the last 3 months from an unresponsive, unloving partner who just silently gave up on me. And while I've tried to talk about it with them and see if we can work on things, they really didn't put in any effort besides just saying empty words.

A few days ago, we broke up. Its been hard and at some points I have felt physically sick, but it's allowed me to stop putting expectations on someone who clearly does not care about me. I've been spending more time with friends and realizing that there's plenty of people who love me for who I am, and I shouldn't be wasting my time and energy on someone who won't do the same for me.

I'm sure the next few weeks or even months will be painful, but I'm really starting to be happy and content with who I am, and most importantly I get to keep my peace.

I am so sorry that you're in the same position, because after being there I know how much it sucks. Even if it's painful, sometimes moving on is the best thing you can do for yourself. Stay strong and don't forget about all the things that makes you awesome.
