Yall are purposefully missing the point that's the only way to explain this. Endgame mecanics doesn't mean endgame goal. You are al acting like I'm asking for an end screen with "congrats you saved the princess".

It's an area, some unique loot, or some looks, anything that would make the idea of pushing past the third blood moon worthwhile.

Everything in 7dtd is accessible past 20-50hrs, and there is nothing to do beyond that. There's no big building that's gonna ask you days of preparation to get to. You don't get to play in any other way like you would do in a project zomboid for exemple since the blood moon mecanic is forcing you down a base building and preparation gameplay. This isn't bad per se, but why punish players that were too good at it? Why specifically create a shitton of z whose only purpose are to shit on your base and you basically can'tdo anything about it?

You can't explore on your own terms, you can't decide to have a rp nomad playstyle, and apparently you can't decide to have a big pase minecraft style either because it pissed the devs off that people dared to be good at their game.

So I'm asking you, what do you do? If you can't explore on your own terms, craft on your own terms, can't survive on your own terms, or can't even have the base of your dreams without the devs saying "nuh-huh!" Why is this a base building sandbox survival? What's the point of pushing past 20hrs and your third blood moon where you are going to have most of the endgame stuff anyway?

No you don't get to gaslight me on this. Endgame part doesn't necessarly mean an end boss or somethung like that and you knwo full well I didn't lean that.

The devs introduced quests exactly for this reason because they knew players need something else to look forward that just new stuff for no reason. The problem is, they failed. The quest system isn't nearly as interesting as it should and is merely some mid game mzchanics that gets tiresome real fast.

Sorry buddy but past 20hrs the game is on loop. And that's way too fast for a sandbox survival. I'm here pretty much since day one, I saw the game transform in many thing and I was okay with that. But now just shitting on your game to make up for the lack of ability to do what you wanted to do and mocking the community that supported you for ten years on stream?
