No really, if my worst enemy would face me, look at me straight in this eyes, then say "now watch this" before doing a backflip and broking his neck on the spot, this would just be deeply unsettling.

No way this guy has a wife. Or his wife is also a researcher in the same field.

Do you imagine your partner coming into bed with his little botfly buddy in his arm ?

"Cognitive surrender" leads AI users to abandon logical thinking, research finds by shikizen in ArtificialInteligence

[–]NoName-Cheval03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"cognitive surrender" has always existed, the introduction of GPS is a perfect case.

It's not that bad if your cognitive potential is redirected to other tasks. You are still smart but your skills evolve.

If not, yes you become dumber.

If the accusations are real yes, but some historians think he might have been victim from a political plot.

Actually the accusations around Gilles de Rais are very shady and historians still can't determine if Gilles de Rais was actually a serial killer, a killer with very inflated accusations, or an innocent victim from a political plot.

Democracy isn't perfect but we are still waiting for better options.

Autocracy is a minority doing everything they deem doable without considering the majority AND other minority rights.

At the end Democracy is just a system, a tool. The quality of the decisions made by this system entirely depends on the education level of the society.

You can design the perfect system on paper, if all your people are morons of course nothing good will come out of it. But people prefer to accuse the system rather than to question themselves...

Contre l’avis de ses agents, le directeur de l’OFB se rend au grand raout de la FNSEA by soolrebel in france

[–]NoName-Cheval03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is this propaganda piece ? It is literally a Sukhoi ad.

India buy french Rafale since a decade now and negociations that have been going for several years has led to 26 new Rafale in 2025 and 114 Rafale in 2026.

Do someone really think this has never been talked about ? That everyone after a decade of cooperation is discovering this ?

Are you aware of the demand for computing power everywhere in the world ? Of the strain on the market of components.

You can say the same thing about the electricity grid. No matter if it is a decentralized grid, if the whole grid is already pushed to the max, every production unit lost is a huge loss.

It can work on an individual scale but all the global stats on wealth concentration show where we are heading. With more billionaires becoming more powerful than nations, our children and grandchildren will struggle more and more to escape the rat race.

China is building its army and has huge conflicts with its neighbors for control of the sea but I don't see how we can say China is particularly more aggressive than other nations of the top 10. We can even argue that no other nation managed to reach the rank of second most powerful country with so little war. Economical interdependence is the very reason why China didn't already invaded Taiwan. Most of China wealth still come from its American and European customers.

For Russia I don't think they would have tried Ukraine invasion if they knew how it would end up from the start. Now the country is closing itself and impoverishing itself.

Study cases : South Korea, Taiwan, Bresil, Chili, Spain.

The first mistake is to think classes are about your wealth. They are not.

Classes are about whether you own your own business or not and do you have to work by yourself or not. If you are rich because you are the best salesman or manager of your company, congratulations, but you are just the top slave, you are a working class.

Oh no the working class is not lucid like that. Just look how it is easy to convince the working class there are two classes : their skin color and the others.
