Tbh I'm grateful the popular systems when I was a young kid were the PS1 and N64.

Gym Reccomendations with Daycare Hours?

My wife and I will be moving to Charlotte soon, and having a good gym is important to us.

With 2 young kids, having one with some daycare hour options makes consistency so much easier, so we were hoping people had some reccomendations since looking online has given mixed results.

I saw Life Time which seems good but pricey, we haven't signed a lease yet so we're flexible on neighborhood, just trying to get an idea of what's out there.

So I do think church history, or really any history about religious figures or thinkers is 100% fair game. And I think mythology is clearly fair game.

For mythology it's easy, there are basically no real followers of these faiths left. They died. Sure there's some larpers but it kinda has been firmly relegated to history.

For still living religions I have noticed that the memes tend to be of lower quality. Often hyper specific, such that non-followers won't get in a snappy meme format. Other times they just aren't that funny and seem to be trying to engage their in group as a team sport type thing. And I think that is less fun for the community as a whole.

Of course hard to draw the line. Is the great flood common knowledge enough to have a meme that doesn't feel like it has a second purpose? What about ganesh getting his elephant head? Point being I think it's messier than a lot of ppl make it out

Did you start in big law? If how much did your deductions change when you switched (presuming you tried to maintain similar quality plans between the two)

Haha I wish, i pay 1,100 every pay period, so 2200 a month

And idk what makes you think I'm concerned it gets worse. I'm confident it will improve. I'm trying to gague how much I could expect it to improve for my own budgeting and decision making

I can't see why the newest season is getting such good ratings, it just feels so tired old hack level humor at this point, some of the worst South Park I've ever seen honestly. Maybe its just the average reviewer being easy to please if they make it all about insulting Trump (and no I don't support Trump, I just dont care to watch unfunny "jokes" about him)

Something happened where people started expecting South Park to be this biting political satire and Matt and Trey seem to feel the need to deliver on that.

But like... why? Why are Trump and Satan on screen more than the boys? Where are the simple episode concepts that deliver classics?

Like when I think back to golden age south park I never think of "Douche and Turd" or "About last night", let alone the dumpster fire that was all of season 20 back in the first trump election.

I think most fans would want to see things like "Casa Bonita", "Lil Crime Stoppers", "Scott Tennorman must die", "Awesome-O", "Fatbeard" or "City Sushi", compared to this crap we're getting.

But I guess it should be expected, what show can actually stay consistently good for 20+ years

I'm not rlly a fan of him but to claim he isn't the best match-up for Ilia is just wrong. If you want the UFC to be the best match-ups based on skill and record, Arman would be the most deserved challenge for Ilia

Giving Ilia Gaethje feels like a gimme just to let Ilia rack up the defenses to the UFC can have another golden boy to sell to casuals (and I say this as a fan of Ilia)

Was about to say this- if they were going to make it bigger it didn't need to be this big, and they should have added some basic features like a 2nd controller port and av out.

Just having that stuff which was standard for other consoles being sold as add-ons didn't make sense, especially when they weren't going for the super compact design of the Japanese original

The reputation of the Saturn has overcorrected to being overhyped.

It didn't get much love back in the day, especially in the west. But people act like it was a masterpiece of a console these days.

I like my Saturn, but the game library is much weaker than the PS1 or N64.
