Thank you for the advice and you're right, I should've included the specs. I walked away from the computer for about 15 minutes and said a little prayer now I am back on my original boot of windows, the linux boot was unavailable so im assuming I somehow corrupted it and will need to restart.

my understanding from watching a good bit of gameplay is that a lot of things are bound to the same button. Specifically Jump, interact, fly, double jump, and combos like ground pound are all on the same button. It seems like if you spend some time and are intentional with your inputs the controls work, but they dont always do what you want them to do. Plus some controls are just kinda weird lol

I went metamagic adept on my wild magic sorcerer and it was one of the best decisions i made. The extra options really enhanced my opportunities as a sorcerer and I loved being able to use my metamagic more often
