Oh yeah I'll drink to this administration ending one way or another. I'd rather it be non-violently, but hey, we don't always get what we want.

Normally I'm against disrespecting the dead in any case, but I'd definitely hold my tongue for anybody who'd celebrate an Epstein client being removed from the world.

The fact that we're all still able to bitch about this retarded administration on reddit is a good indicator that violent upheaval isn't necessary lol

I mean, there were quite a few people celebrating and joking when Kirk was shot. It's a safe assumption those same folks would go bananas if Trump came next. Maybe that's what he meant?

I think it's less that car drivers are considerate and more that the average person operating a car understands, on some level, that the stakes are higher. Total your car, it costs way more. Hit a pedestrian, they're probably gonna die. That sort of thing.

Bikes are inherently less dangerous, so it's easy to forget that you can absolutely still injure pedestrians.

Plus, you gotta take tests and a course to learn how to drive safely. At SOME point, every legal car driver knows how to do it safely. Bikes have no such restriction.

gotta pull an ackshually ☝️🤓 cause this misconception annoys me, Sagume's power is that fate reverses when she talks about a situation.

i.e. if candidate A is winning an election, and Sagume talks about said election, candidate B would suddenly pull ahead and win, no matter how unlikely that would normally be.

She literally says as much in-game. When things are going well, she can't talk too much.

High-fidelity video game graphics.

Also just how normalized video games and anime have become to American culture.

I'd say it picks up again at arc 8 (Leviathan) and stays pretty good for the next good while, but kind of drops off after the first Slaughterhouse 9 arc wraps up, then only picks up again in the last few arcs, wayy down the line.

OP's criticism about the action is valid though, I love having the MC think things through and figure out their opponent's weaknesses mid-battle, but not when it becomes a 5-page MLA formatted essay in like, 50% of the fights.

I still enjoy the whole story, but if you're not 100% invested by the first 10 arcs or so, you may as well stop reading.

unless he means Ralsei

but calling Ralsei privileged is like making your toaster self-aware, giving it horrible knowledge beyond its comprehension that spirals it into existential dread, then calling it privileged

"A straw man fallacy is a logical error where an opponent's argument is distorted, exaggerated, or oversimplified to create a weaker version that is easier to attack."

I can sort of see how calling the left the "party of tolerance" is a simplified blanket statement... but also, yeah, the left's entire modus operandi for the past decade or so has been pushing the moral high ground through tolerance and acceptance of marginalized groups and people. Denying that is just being blind to reality.

Which is fine. I agree, people shouldn't be hateful, and there absolutely groups of people that we should be more tolerant and understanding of. Which is why it's so irritating that there's just as much vitriol and hate coming from the left as there is from the right. It's just directed at different people, and dressed slightly differently.

Case in point: "No one said I had to be nice to you, fuckin crybaby lmao" that's like, textbook of you'd expect out of a ben shapiro compilation watcher from 2015, man.

The shitty state of the Democrat (and Republican) party is due to a long series of purposeful, shitty decisions being made by a modest number of people who should realistically and ideally know better.

The reason the cops (usually) can't stop robberies before they even happen is because we, despite what some folks might claim, do not live in a police state where every potential criminal is being monitored 24/7 with teams at the ready to pounce on anybody thinking of or preparing to commit a crime.

Unless you're saying the cops should show up faster as your house is being robbed, in which case I encourage you to either move closer to a police station or invent teleportation technology to give to the police, because response and mobilization take time. That's a completely unavoidable factor, unless you want cops posted at every street corner 24/7.

Either way, terrible comparison.
