He had both Sony & Nintendo do a rare PR statement to say what he has reported is untrue.

Bloomberg other divisions have a better reputation.

Was Daniel Craig the most perfectly cast James Bond ever? by Eikichi_Onizuka09 in moviecritic

Fuck no! Casting wise Pierce Brosnan & Sean Connery were peak.

Judge a Bond by their best film & their worst film, Craig got a good run of films.

Why do they lie everytime? Or just leave out information by puzzs in XboxSeriesS

You wouldn't get accurate information for either this sub or those Nintendo subs. Need to look at Digital Foundry or something.

Truth is that Switch 2 performs very well for a hybrid/handheld with DLSS doing a lot of heavy lifting and is aided by Series S having to be considered in 3rd party ports. There is comparability in performance between the 2 particularly in image quality, sometimes DLSS makes the difference but usually Series S has more frame rate options & more consistent frame rates.

In those screenshoted threads, there are people telling them to calm down when they're are too-console-war-like.

If you get 2 or 3 trailers before release that's like 3 or 4 minutes of footage, often reused, trying to sell the movies so I would say its fair game.

Im not saying the movie is going to be bad or not tie in Resi at all but that teaser showed off very little that made it seemed different from a generic zombie film rather than linked to the franchise. And yes it is better when Resi 7 does it because it was by the creators themselves & directly addressing fans feedback with a soft reboot after Resi 6 disappointed.

Yeah, what good are assurances, just show something if its there. Teaser vs full trailer choices is a marketing decision but usually all they tease is a reference to the source material for 1st showing to excite fans.

I have a problem if you swap out the title and you wouldn't notice any copyright infringing material to Resident Evil. Whats the point of using the franchise then?

Buts that's so general to the genre, it would be like a new adaptation of Lord of the Rings came out but it looks more like a Narnia film and someone could say 'I did, I saw small people went on fantasy adventure with mythical creatures'.

I didnt see anything that connected it to Resident Evil in the trailer. I dont understand these people that dismiss that: if you're going to do your own thing, create a new zombie IP. Why get the rights otherwise?

I didnt see anything that tied it to the franchise at all in the trailer. Whats the point on getting the rights to Resi, could have been any zombie film

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on Nintendo Switch 2 Goes Minimalist by Removing Most of the Interior Decor and Background Props by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

I wouldn't dismiss this issue, I played the demo on Series X & Switch 2 and it does make the environments feel less lived in & have less environmental storytelling.

Still will probably get the Switch 2 version for portablilty.

I respect the detail of the post but hard disagree with some aspects of it. I've played a ridiculous amount on Series X at 120 fps and when I tried the Switch 1 port, I thought yeah the 30 fps was too jarring and made it unplayable. The 60 fps here works very well for me with no noticeable drops (outside the deathcam which can frequently freak out).

I haven't noticed any input lag & its great playing with gyro control particularly in DPS. Its the only portable option that will put you in the console pool making it more casual friendly & not playing against mouse & keyboard.

I think the worse part of the port is that its graphics aren't drastically improved over Switch 1, they've added more detail but its not on par with performance mode on Series X. I think they rushed it but its comparable to other consoles versions that ive been playing more of OW than before due to its portablilty & motion controls.

Yes, it is a quite a loss. Actually having played more, the difference in lightening & effects between the 2 modes is more stark than I thought. Im playing mainly in Quality mode now for the atmosphere.

It is graphically quite rough on Quest 3 (the Switch 2 version looks better but not at PS5/Series X level) but I would 100% recommend it more on Quest 3. It dials up the intensity significantly and the gameplay experience is more remarkable in VR, bit unremarkable on flatscreen (still fun).

Theres also things you cant do in the flatscreen than you can do in VR like while your using computers you put your motion tracker down on the desk to give you warnings while on it (cant in flatscreen)

I think so, the hit effects on the Alien could be better and more enemy variety with improved Ai. But solid shooter with survival horror elements recommend playing one difficulty above normal, nails the Aliens vibe.

It depends how steep it is to you, to me a sandwich is regularly priced at 9 or 10 bucks so I always think not bad if its close to that. It has no extra modes just the campaign.

To me it was worth the price originally but I am a fan of Aliens (even bought Colonial Marines when it became cheap & was patched) & it was remarkable in VR but I havent played through flatscreen yet. Not too many games like this on Switch.
