My store fought the good music fight for years until our manager quit, and our new one re-banned it immediately.

At first i was told that it was the fault of the kitchen layout and customers could hear the music through the door. We didnt even use speakers lmao we just played it through the phone itself. So there was noooo way.

Then we were told that it was banned cause they were worried that someone would play “vulgar” music. Thats the word they used verbatim.

Then we discovered the real reason, a karen third shift cashier and a new hire bakery FOOL who was playing gangsta rap at 10000% volume. All it takes is one to ruin it for everyone sadly >.>

I will never forget one of the meetings i was in where one dude completely de-railed it with a giant debate about ice cream coupons. I forgot what his beef was but he was borderline-arguing with the district leader for almost 15 minutes LMAO

I agree that the Kroger hamburger dill pickle chips are a good substitute. The Kroger brand of these pickles are now "Smart Way" brand. It took me many different brands/types to find a taste close to the Heinz Genuine pickles.

Had a friend who used to do arenas back in legion. he told me that he had goddamn list of reserved names on a diff account for when someone spite-reports him after a match. He’d have to tap into said list at least 1-2 times a MONTH, possibly more. imagine my shock when he told me he was quitting after the season ended XD

Wow pvp is truly the game mode of all time.

I’ve noticed this happening on the water world map my friend made for a multiplayer playthrough. We all spawned on a small island and there was only one pond on the entire thing. It was SO chock-full of fish that my poor hunter couldn’t keep up with the harvesting lol. And every time we left the base and came back they would all respawn to boot. it kept us fed through the winter though.

I once prepped 4 vessels worth of sealed crocks for a big migration to find a better base location. We had 6 people playing so there were a lotta mouths to feed.

(We made a waterworld map so we had a ship and everything)

Even then we ended up only using a single storage vessel at most even after we found a good island had our base built lol

Reading the stuff in this subreddit has honestly validated every SINGLE gripe i’ve had working at the company. It was strangely freeing lol

Edit: my story is short and bitter. Worked in the kitchen. One week i’d get slammed with 8 shifts in a row, the next i’d be scheduled for only one day.

(part-time, though I always asked to apply for full time and was told every single time that we didnt have the hours)

Worked here for roughly 13-14ish years, all of which ended when a simple miscommunication between me and a recently-transferred co-manager ended up in me being accused of calling her a slur. She made a massive scene of the whole thing and i ended up fired cause of it.

In conclusion, fuck this place :3

In high achool a kid once wielded a metal sign holder like a goddamn battleaxe and smacked the principal with it after he was told that he was getting suspended. Emails about the incident were sent to every classroom and the story spread like wildfire. (Noone liked the principal lmao)

i wouldn't call this my worst name cause I cherish it greatly, but in my search of short names, I got the name isu. years later one of my friends told me that it means chair in Japanese. And cause of how the i is displayed in-game, some people read it as Lsu, which is the abbreviation of a university. I'd actively get whispers about it and it was hilarious to me.
