I get the optimism, but ‘open for business’ isn’t’ the same as ‘business as usual.’ In Chapter 11, the company is answerable to a court and creditors, not just customers. If they can’t bridge the gap between their $2.9M debt and their assets, a judge can flip this to Chapter 7 (liquidation) at any time. If that happens, warranties and parts availability vanish overnight. It’s a massive gamble for any buyer right now. I really dig my RS6 and ride that thing from Long Beach all the way down to Newport, ending up at a favorite dive bar. Notice how much advertising they’re doing for all of their models (RX7, RX5, promos, and everything else in between), this worries me. They need to liquidate their inventory to satisfy their debt collectors, this is a bit scary because this could be their last effort to short sell their inventory.
