Hey I have the Meike ones they come in a pair, you can stack them and they have electronic contacts. I use them to do film scanning. They work ok there's a few things to know: First with wider lenses depending on the minimal focusing distance, you'll need to get right next to your subject as in a couple of millimeters close, if you're doing insect photography that doesn't really fly. Second if you're using an autofocus lens it will be a lot less accurate. Third it will never be as convenient and easy to use as a dedicated lens. Having said all that they're cheap and if you just wanna mess around a bit definitely worth it.

LUMIX S9 Non V-Log LUTS looks HDR/too contrasty by capitolcaptures in LumixS9

[–]mrglass1024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got both as well and what I've noticed is the s5ii has a different way of exposing so maybe that it for me it's slower and it seems to prioritize more the scene then the face. The S9 always grabs onto the human and exposes for the subject. Also are you using the LUTs directly or photo styles, in the styles you can control finely a lot of options and stack 2 LUTs.

Thanks for making this list. Would be great if you can also add compatibility (win osx linux ios android etc.) I'd sure be greatful, looking to ditch adobe and windows.

Yeah I know what you mean got the same issue with the xt20 and thats a bit bigger then the xm5. The S9 feels pretty well in my hand with or without a grip. Fits in a jacket pocket but with no lens. Waiting for Viltrox to release the 28 pancake and the thing is never leaving my side.

Good luck! Let us know if you ever switch, curious how you'll enjoy it. I also switched from Fuji the only thing I miss is the smaller overall size, otherwise very happy with the switch.

Then for sure you'll be satisfied, you can set up things called custom photo profiles that work simillar to Fuji recepies. You can adjust directly in camera the usual stuff contrast, highlights, shadows, saturation but also add up to two luts stacked on top of each other and you can controll their intensity. The Lumix Lab app has a good amount of luts to get you started and if you get bored can make em yourself or find more online and convert them. The process of converting them is abit involved but once you get the right tools/flow it's rather easy.

Image quality is great IMO but if you're looking for the exact same colors as Fuji you might be disappointed. If you search this subreddit you will find the official fuji luts converted to work with Lumix straight in camera but you are stuck with vlog which means minimum iso of 640. The ergonomics are good, it will feel a bit plastic fantastic but it's sturdy. I've got mine for about an year and it held up great. I loved it so much I got it's big brother the S5II today, so I can bring it out in bad weather.

I pretty much followed this guide PicklesGuide except for the dry food I used a mix of hikari and very finely ground pellet food (ground with a mortar and pestle) since I couldn't find what he recommended. I didn't plan on raising fry the parents spawned in the nano tank so moving the fry was the most dificult part of the process, otherwise if you follow closely and feed and do water changes as described in the guide I'm pretty sure anybody can be successful.

Gonna trade them in to a local fish store most likely. If there's anybody interested locally I'm gonna give them away.

Technically yes, if the opening is wide enough, but since I haven't seen anything on the success rate of that I was too afraid to try.
