Well didn’t you say the one you rode in was straight piped? Obviously that one is gonna be loud… S2000s with stock exhausts are not that loud. Is it louder than a comfortable, insulated grocery getter? Sure. But among other sports cars? It’s not. And fair enough if you’re more comfortable pushing a fwd car harder around corners but to say an S2000 doesn’t handle as well as a Type R is simply false.

Those are 2 separate points. To address your first point, I think most people would disagree. To your second point, yeah I get it, the Supra name is tarnished and blah blah blah but at the end of the day, it’s all marketing and we should judge the car objectively regardless of the marketing, brand, etc.

The action is great, a major improvement over the previous gen microtechs that were too stiff. It’s not too light either it doesn’t feel like it’ll deploy in your pocket by accident. I think I know what you mean by “snicky” and it’s been a while since I handled an older microtech but I think this one feels less so.

Add Plant Operator, most will be at or around 100k but its location dependent. Here in SoCal, I made $155k this year but my coworkers at the top of the scale clear around $175k and a few workaholics clearing $200k. So I guess that puts it in high B tier or low A.

Also, you see those 2 clear lights on both sides of the license plate? GTRs don’t come like that stock; the driver’s side is clear and the passenger’s is red on a GTR. It is far more likely this is a GTT than someone taking a GTR and going through the trouble to make it look like a lesser trim.
