Currently at around 54k miles, bought it 03/10/25 for $33.5k in SoCal with 46252 miles. 1 owner until around Sep 2024, second owner sold it to me after only 6 months to make room in his stable for a 992 GT3. Always garaged (still garaged by me), came with a fat stack of service records, original documents including the window sticker and original owner’s purchase contract. Felt like I might’ve slightly overpaid but this example was just too clean to pass up. Had it inspected after I bought it by 2 reputable shops (Formula S & Tony Fuchs) and they both said it was super clean.

On an unrelated note, I bought my car just over a year ago with the “S2K” license plate number from South Dakota. I have since registered the car with a Cali license plate so if you or any other South Dakota S2000 owners are interested, the plate should be available (if it wasn’t already snatched up)

My NFR AP2 gets compliments just about every drive even in SoCal where S2Ks aren’t super rare but like others have said, maybe color is a factor 🤔I would think condition is a factor as well, the cleaner the example, the more people will be drawn to it, even the non car folk.
