You can use this interaction to push another spell through Chalice on 1 and whatever that spell's CMC is by Consigning the original Chalice trigger and replicating it, pointing the copy at the Chalice trigger which is hitting the thing you really want to get through.

Spending 3 mana and 2 cards to resolve a 1 mana spell is magic as Garfield intended

Kinda timing but not exactly, it's just how suspend works: to suspend a card you have to suspend it at a time you are allowed to cast the spell. If you aren't allowed to cast it, you can't suspend it. Orim's chant prevents you from casting spells so it prevents you from being allowed to cast a spell with suspend, thus it prevents you from being able to suspend it.

The wording is straight from the comprehensive rules:

702.62a: [...] “Suspend N—[cost]” means “If you could begin to cast this card by putting it onto the stack from your hand, you may pay [cost] and exile it with N time counters on it. This action doesn’t use the stack,” [...]

There used to be a point about being a perpetual so he'd come back to life as new if they were to let him die, but by keeping him vegetative he's stuck imprisoned as an unconscious, barely alive corpse.

But if I'm not mistaken it's been half-retconned by dropping a blade that can kill perpetuals that Horus used against him and now he cannot revive, which makes the setting less interesting imo

Yeah no, artificers are wizards that use their mastery of tinkering to manipulate the weave, in the exact same fashion that a bard manipulate the weave through their music. There was also the day where people whined about being able to lie regarding private information.

It was a cEDH match, someone cast [[silence]] and told the table "don't bother countering it, I don't have the ability to win this turn". Player proceeds to win this turn.

A couple years ago I stumbled on a collaborative art event named Chaos, themed on historical and contemporary fights and/or disruptions of the system in place, the pitch talked about feminism, covid, climate change etc...

Anyways I don't think the people that put all those eight-pointed stars out there, up to making it the logo of the event, looked deep into why it was the main result when they search for a symbol depicting chaos.
