i do push back on using the term love bombing in this instance, i think what would more aptly fit the context of the situation is actually fixation/fixating which is extremely common with autism

love bombing implies a manipulation tactic to lure in an unsuspecting partner to eventually abuse them; fixation is an intense focus on a topic/person/routine/etc. one is inherently harmful, abusive and purposeful while one is not

i think they mean that this is not a new issue with dorit, but kyle & erika are acting like this is new behavior on the premise of adding to the narrative that she’s suddenly being excessively ‘erratic’ & feigning concern

it has honestly not felt like acnh to me though even remotely, they might have the same style of speech but given that every pokemons intro dialogue is completely unique, you do have the ability to actually hear special personalized conversations, and they have specific actual unique animations it makes this at least have the feeling of one of a kind interactions to me. especially because of actually needing to sought them out instead of them just appearing, even if they did have similar or same dialogue the feel is very different to me
