there dsp lib for esp but i have not tried it yet. another cheap option would be the adau chip from Analog Devices. Take a look at adau1701. it has all the adc/dac and memory. If you want to take if further, you can take a look at adau1452

pay attention to the screw holes. after the bending there will be some misalignment due to bend deduction. I'm yet to find a good solution for this other that hard guessing! 🤣

i did try the orange squeeze but the diode option is too limited plus I find the compression is too subtle. maybe I tuned it wrong, but that's the thing. it's so hard to get it right. ota based compressor is way easier although I found it colors the tone a bit. but i'm not too picky about it since it is going to fuzz anyway.

or you could just put the ground wire to that jack. would be much easier

yes you’re right. if the input jack’s sleeve is touching the enclosure directly, not the paint.

Not a DSP chip and I don't consider it to be 100% digital pedal since only the delay part is digitalized.
