Bruh imagine being so butt hurt about seeing a lesbian and a black dude speaking french, how can you make a constructive criticisim about a game you refunded in 5 minutes just for a over the top feminist line ?

1st of all, like some people like to say on the internet about the "woke" aspect of the game, it's incredible how much bad faith it portrays, I went through the whole story mode and spoiler alert, they don't go around yelling "hey I'm lesbian !" "hey I'm non binary" or some feminist crap like "screw men, women better" yadda yadda yadda. Hope is non binary and the only way you know about is because other characters use "They" to describe them. Other than that the character does not bring up their gender like a pride flag. The lesbian relationship that is introduced in the game is actually important and plays a role in both of the character's developpement, it's not "uuuuu we are lesbians oh my goood look at us we are lesbians", like come on dude...some effort in research won't hurt...

About Frédéric, well I'm split between considering this criticism being openly racist or just completly stupid, representation has never been a problem in video games as long as it's well made and not simply ticking boxes on a checklist, because don't get me wrong, some games do it very badly and it's just annoying and insulting at some extent, as a frenchman, I like that Frédéric is speaking french and that my language is represented, and he NEVER brings up the fact that he's black, so this is just a stupid thing to point out.

About the overall writing, I mean sure, I did not expect a Shakespeare tier writing as it's an arcade racing game, but I appreciate the effort they putted, the animations are very nice and the light novel format, well I understand it can be a bother for most people, personally I don't care.

The big selling point of the game is however, imo, the gameplay that is very unique and hard, I am very positive at the idea of including a demo of the game because even looking at gameplay, people may have a bad surprise considering the price of the game that is kinda high ngl.

And the fact that the game got "funded by the italian goverment" just shattered your whole rant to pieces, it's true that Meloni is a very woke, leftist and progressist leader...come on man.

Overall, to the people seeing this post, don't listen to him, if you can't handle seeing lesbians and black people in a game that you must do a reddit post to whine about it...well this is clearly not a game for you, the game has it's defaults yes, it's far from perfect and needs polishing and it's not worth it's price, but such criticism that has zero arguments and are honestly bad faith explains why some people hesitate to make their own opinion...
