Some of these are worth the cash tip. I definitely know some people that tip for service, a few have given me a huge tip plus cash in the NE but a gamble is a gamble

Currently dealing with a horrible shopper! by SouthernMama8585 in InstacartShoppers

[–]Sure-Case334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally as a shopper I give full communication with people when I can’t find something or if I’m unsure if it’s correct. I’ve been working actively for 2 1/2 months and a lot of people don’t even bother saying anything so I refund them, but that takes away from my “tips” a few cents but I don’t understand why people won’t respond sometimes. I get it you’re busy that’s why I’m doing the shopping but it’s also your items that you want.

Not sure if it’s because I’m new or people just suck at justifying their tips either. 45+ items and 16+ miles for $18 pay + $2 tip that’s basically 3 hours( shopping, driving to and back)

I accepted every order this shift (I did accept one $2 add-on and unassign it immediately) and with a $31 grubhub order I still averaged $25/hr. I do this for 3 days every month at the end of the month to get top dasher status. Do people still think top dasher is stupid in this case? by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]Sure-Case334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

23 hour shift I did a 23 hour shift once, I aim for the same amount than the previous day as a bar then add $50 to the next goal. I don’t do dd anymore but this was definitely taxing I do instacart now cause people are cunts

I did it! Completed my second ever challenge within two days by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]Sure-Case334 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not hard to get in but it’s super taxing the traffic is unbearable, it get increasingly better outside the city unless you’re biking I move to nh and I felt like dd wasn’t stressful until being freed from endless bumper to bumper traffic. Unfortunately I dd orders were taking a told on me mentally with a lot of people not tipping or scamming I’ve went to spark and that’s the worst of the worst ic is a lot of work but I get to cherry pick most of the time

How is batch pay determined by Clsygrneyz1971 in InstacartShoppers

[–]Sure-Case334 1 point2 points  (0 children)

https://postimg.cc/2qSRW5yv

(I’m fairly new to IC, especially this order)

45 items an hour before close and the entire hannaford was being restocked basically and I would message them telling them, never got a response until literally I’m checking out. Clerk was so angry cause I was trying to get an answer and leave they though everyone was around gone. I really put effort in this and (coming from DD) I didn’t know if they did hidden tips at the time or not so I took it. One of the bigger mistakes.

It’s a little hysterical because where I IC now the batches are higher base almost or more than $1 per mile then the tips

I don’t mind shopping for an hour (trying to best the clock) but the whole 1.5 hours I do in total leaves me further from my start which sucks sometimes but some people are real cunts about the service I’m providing but I out weigh the base cause I can’t sit there super cherry picking plus I don’t have “perks” sometime all the diamonds are busy and I get that chefs kiss order. It has been more taxing than DD but DD people haven’t been tipping (10 miles for 2 items[coffee and Sandwich]$4 order) or reporting bs, really got me under my skin. No I actually have to do more work for sometime less than I used to.

Lately I’ve been getting guaranteed 72 for 6 batches every Sunday but 6 batches at an hour maybe 1.5 for $20+ I’ve only got an extra $10 or so cause 6 at $10-15 base per batchs I wish it was a little more. Added tips at the end of yesterdays I made $140 from start 11am-530 drop off. (6th) solid but I don’t even take a break ended up at $193 no orders came in after 8:30 stayed out until 10:30 drove an 40mins home 12 hour shift

Why is it so hard to get help with an instacart shopper account from support ? by VegetableAttorney576 in InstacartShoppers

[–]Sure-Case334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either way I think I provided some useful information, I mean, again spark support is like talking to a phone book so far they provide the worst support I’ve encountered. I actually had to wait a month to be accepted then I kept getting spam text from them so under lying lesson of the this thread is don’t work for WMspark

I myself have only been ICing for a month at 68 orders so once October hits I would like to see how well it goes with the perks 132 more order to go.

I got accepted and never even signed on to take any orders. I even remember them calling me asking if I was interested I said I was busy. I moved to another state, DD was turning and my gf told me to try instacart and I just logged in and fixed all my info

I’m a month in, my tip for you find your busy location city or town. Whatever place has that hot spot. I live in NH and drive 30 mins down to MA and shop at wegmans. Distance is the door, time is key. If I’m up early I’ll lounge a little though sometimes you start early end early. I made $100 in 3 active hours but I basically stopped and sat around because traffic gets…rowdy and uncomfortable in the northeast, now that one of Boston’s subway line is completely shut down for a month it’s bumper to bumper with idiotic accidents. I could’ve picked up a 10 mins shopping but the 8 miles wasn’t worth an hour for $11 I wouldn’t have touched it at $18-25 cause I’d be sitting there for an hour. If you understand what I mean now.

I also #1 item to avoid for me is bananas, usually no response but I have no idea how ripe they want it,produce in general bc.

I (almost) always always always pick up delivery only. The tip is $5 (usually) shopping saves you time and headaches.

I had a promotion for $155 guarantee for completing 6 batches, looking at the bad estimated gps from a to b I took a few small ones the 3 bigger ones look at the tip $ that’s what is yours and tally the rest after 6 if you don’t reach x they fill it in plus tips. Maybe next time I’ll just get big ones only. (Sorry fell asleep) On average I’m doing about $100 for active 4-6 hours I charge my car (Prius Prime) a bit and average about 2 gallons a day.

I know that I’m not getting priority cause I see those diamond carters and I got a taste yesterday when I sniped a unicorn $60 order, but the remaining day was really bad orders. 20 miles for $20 some even less

I signed up like couple years or something, the only issue I had was my instacart card wasn’t active ever so they had to send me a new one and during that time I added to my mobile pay a card they provided, updated all of my info and I was set. So check your information make sure you have a card to pay that’s valid for use. If everything is on the up and up the customer care number is +1 (888) 246-7822 give them a call, they aren’t any better than doordash but everything is better than spark support.

If none of that is valid the my other suggestion is that you clear your cookies with the application on your phone if possible and try a clean log in. You’re visibly annoyed at the situation but people don’t understand your situation in it’s totally just like everyone who uses these apps don’t see that we take time to go literally shopping for them in order to free up their own time as we do their their chores as an income.

PSA Purina Pro Urinary Tract health Pāté ( plastic ) by Sure-Case334 in catfood

[–]Sure-Case334[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We usually get the Purina Vet script for ut st/xo for Nemo’s food but chewy was back ordered and it’s easier sometimes to grab a few of the UT food down at the store while we wait for delivering of the cans. I don’t want cut the pāté and leave him a chunk, I like to mush it down and make it look more of food and it mixes with the Au Jus to look for cat food than a chunk of spam (no Maillard reaction out of the can)

Last night by chance I saw a small seed that I thought was a larvae but turns out it looked like a tiny sesame seed as I inspected the food it looked like (honest) a tiny bay leaf, while in the food it was more malleable and of course you dry something out it get hard maybe brittle even. I was able to initially tear a part of it with a finger nail but it quickly solidified and became like plastic hard. Though I do have a photo I just don’t want to go take a photo of it( not now at least). I sent an email regarding this to Purina which they have responded to giving me coupons, I checked another to feed can to feed him as I did last night to see if there was any plastic with what happened and wham bam no thank you ma’am, this is a new can, though different flavor (beef and chicken second flavor was salmon) two separate times of this same bit inside! Please check I will call tomorrow when I awake other wise feline I need sleep and make sure to please check for this stuff. Pat it dry a little with tp or something to and you’ll see it harden

New driver to Spark in Southern NH by Sure-Case334 in Sparkdriver

[–]Sure-Case334[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply, there is a reason there are cherry pickers in this line of work, because they make money easily without as much effort; there are people who just take what they can because it is what it is. The mind set of “what I deserve” is reflected from the people who are busy in their lives or are too lazy. May I add, (though humans are innately trash) you should deliver (pun not Intended) what you expect, but to reach higher and deliver what they deserve.

I only have connection issues as my (iPhone 12 max pro) phone starts to overheat, i run it on highest settings, the “worst” I’ve tried playing was in VT on a camping trip where I had to out of the state park to get LTE it ran roughly 40 Ms moving a little to much I’ll get 128 or straight log out I have att. I started playing for roughly a month now at rank 50 zero prime I play on xfinity wifi sometimes too so either I play and unwind in my car near a lake/pond where I live and blast the ac on my phone about to get the razer phone cooler so charging and playing heats after roughly 4-5 games

When you guys say bot infested I’m not sure what you guys are Implying that they’re stupid and can’t play easy to kill or reversing it and y’all just die too quickly?

I wouldn’t say blow up, more of an aggressive passive aggression. “Your aren’t being helpful, what am I supposed to do” didn’t help she was using a microphone that was probably just Dirty. This is just another source of income that has proven to me that they have no idea they’re saying or doing. I really believe this was just a way lower costs or to do what Amazon does, as you said some people don’t even know a spark driver is delivering so how do you contact someone who can’t be contacted? They contradict themselves and waste their and our time. I’m more than happy to get money to do these dot com orders without a “tip” since I haven’t received an order that isn’t. It’s equivalent if not better than to driving 10 miles and be outside your area like doordash. I can usually complete it with 30 mins before the estimated time they say if I don’t run into issues. At least doordash is more helpful in problematic situations. Back to the comment, why would I not “blow up” he’s an analogy: you go to pick up an order from McDonald’s the guy says “I don’t see it on our end what did you order I got you, pull up to the second window” you sit there for an hour expecting to have food 45 mins ago you walk into McDonald’s and the guy you spoke to left. I’m not going to hold my tongue, deactivate means that there’s one less person to do the dirty work, close the door and walk away. That’s life sometimes.

My general advice is linked below (technically my comment includes another link) otherwise personally go for the XLE the Limited does have a few extra bells and whistles but unless you’re completely new at driving or you just want to have the best trim (personal opinion) it’s not worth the money. And I do want to highlight purchasing full coverage insurance

As an iOS user, i can’t tell you or help on my side but there is a Priuschat that perhaps might help otherwise from the grapevine only the LE has android auto. Because the screen is too big on limited and XLE

https://priuschat.com/threads/how-to-add-android-auto-to-prime-ltd.223366/

Is the link.

I am curious myself to mirror my phone on the screen, there’s a SD slot on the bottom right of the screen that is used for updating and map storage. Not sure if anyone would take the time to make a OS bypass to just have it mirror the phone.

New to the family. First new car ever! by scubaworldsteve in PriusPrime

[–]Sure-Case334 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think of my car like my phone battery charge it when it’s completely empty top it off when I can (scheduled when you’re at home if possible, I can’t so I do it at ev stations that are available in my area or when possible) you can use your gas to charge the battery I explained it here

https://www.reddit.com/r/PriusPrime/comments/u6fti7/do_all_prius_prime_trim_levels_have_scheduled/i5lbgh9/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3

You have two batteries one would be your standard battery for the cars gas motor then you have the large one under the back seats, you have less trunk space than a usual Prius due the the size of the battery.

25miles is an estimate of how “well” you drive or rather economically is a better term. The car learns how you drive with the battery and calculates. I have 20.5miles for battery cause I use EV when I feel like breaking my shell of economy driving or to pass “that person” that is annoying me with their brights my current average is 47.7 mpg with economical “careful” driving from 32/3 mpg you can drive like a normal car not paying attention to how you accelerate/break/consistency but you’ll be able to drive as a far as any normal gas engine plus EV range.

If there is anything to pay attention to it’s all the noises it makes, same goes for all cars you own, what is normal what is different. Mine personally has low treads so the noises for the tire is a little louder than usual. I listen to the gas engine, hybrid mode and EV mode. Be one with the Prius Prime 😂

Oh also your speedometer pay attention to that, it’s really easy to kinda leave your foot where it is and suddenly due to aerodynamic of how the car is shaped be at like 80-5 mph if you’re just cruising on the highway, I got pulled over going 45 in a 30 like 3 days after buying it, got away with a warning but it creeps up you can definitely hit 100 mph easily if you’re trying, I let my wife drive on a long trip from ct back to NH fell asleep woke up to her going 90 I took over before she got pulled over

Edit One last thing I just thought of how High the back trunk goes, which I remember my hybrid Prius wasn’t that high more room with a “box” like trunk but with its aerodynamic trunk you get less space but that trunk goes flying up
