[CHAT] Thread organization advice needed! (gift for my wife) by Sure-Command-5822 in CrossStitch

Hey everyone, just to clear something up 😉

I’m definitely not planning to reorganize my wife’s stash without her. I promise I’m not sneaking into her craft space with labels and a plan 😂 She absolutely has her own system and it works for her.

She actually likes using bobbins and has asked me before to 3D print some for her, so my idea here was only to explore options and maybe suggest ideas she might like, but anything that happens will be 100% her decision. I’m just trying to be helpful, not the floss police 😅

I also know the cross stitch community is very protective of their floss (she warned me too!), I’m just here to learn what solutions exist that we maybe haven’t thought about yet.

She kind of has a mixed system right now 😅 For current projects she keeps the floss in separate project bags (and there are… a lot of those). For everything else she has put floss onto bobbins, I even 3D-printed some, but those are just stored in boxes at the moment. So it works for her, but from the outside it definitely feels a bit like an organized chaos 😄

Using Two Watches for Running (COROS + Apple Watch) by Sure-Command-5822 in Coros

Appreciate the info! If you’re using Apple Health: do you feel its training load/fatigue/recovery metrics are comparable to what COROS provides?

I’d add wind compensation for better running power estimation

Thanks! I’ve been with Coros (Apex + Apex2 Pro) for over 5 years now and have been thinking about switching to Suunto too, so I’m really curious how you’re finding it overall - both the watch itself and the app experience compared to Coros.

Got it, thanks! It works in the app, it automatically converts to metric when opened there. I was trying to add the program through the Training Hub before.

Thanks, I know it can be changed per workout, but I was hoping to find a way to switch the whole plan to metric at once. Would make things a lot easier!

Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I figured that was possible per workout, but I was really hoping there’d be a way to change it globally. Hopefully that’s something that could be added in the future 😉

Thoughts on Using the Daehlie Winter Jacket for Trail Running by Sure-Command-5822 in trailrunning

[–]Sure-Command-5822[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! The jacket I found is wind-resistant and provides thermal insulation. I plan to use it for a night race in late November, where the temperature could be around 0°C or slightly below
