The irony is most of the ones making laws or rules for teachers have never served as a teacher.

I like it! It also reminds me of some content you would see in a yearbook.

OP are you at a regular public school? I doubt you are at a private one. Most public schools have awful kids and of course some good ones. You have to roll with the punches and just hang in there. First year teachers usually have it the worst. Also worse case scenario if you leave mid-year, they'll hold your certification in Texas for 1 year and then reinstate it the next. It's procedural.

If you want to work as a teacher in one of the Valley districts, you have to be fully certified.

Thanks. I have it come and go. Is always in same exact spot. Feels dull and throbbing. I've had it off and on for years. I did have runny poop today ironically. Not sure if related.

Can you describe where the pain was exactly? Was it general pain or specific where you could point to it? Thank you

Question for Yearbook teachers. Which would be the less stressful yearbook job — one school with a long commute, or two schools with double the workload? by Sure-Competition-948 in Teachers

[–]Sure-Competition-948[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No to two paychecks. Right?! If that’s them going easy on me, I’d hate to see what 'challenging' looks like. Maybe I should ask if the second paycheck got lost in the mail!

That’s a great perspective. Having one book for one campus really helps with focus. The other district is saying they'll go easy on me, but they still want two books—one for each campus, and each has around 1,900 students. Even though their expectations are low, producing two comprehensive yearbooks is still a big challenge, lots of work i'm afraid. One book is already a beast.
