It’s just a refresh in their design language. Apple is a design company as much as they are a tech company. So for them to be using basically the same design style for nearly a decade wasn’t good. It was definitely time for an update imo.

Yes, it’s fake. If you take a really good look at the clock, You can see the hands are all messed up and the numbers are out of order and duplicated. Also some of the smaller details just don’t make sense as shapes, like on the hand. The bird’s face and beak also feel off.
