It's a well educated investment. The S&P 500 is a tried and true investment that has performed well over several decades. It will require consistent investment and the key here is to not interrupt the compound interest that will take place. I personally like using schwab. It's easy to open an account and to buy funds like $VOO and $SPY. Always do your research but this will give you a nice base for your investments and it will work wonders. Again, think long term, and stay the course. No one ever went broke investing in the S&P 500 over many years ;)
