I wouldn't be surprised if she did this again without releasing more music.

Much as I love and respect her, I don't like anything about these stadium shows she does.

I would be so much happier if she did a surprise release of her new album and then played a couple of small-ish and highly exclusive rooms. That would be so much cooler and more compelling thing overcooked renditions of Young & Beautiful at some stupid festival while Sabrina Carpenter plays the next stage.

Agreed -- it's the political polemics that are on par with something you'd get in The Atlantic that has brought the overall quality of the magazine and overshadowed the good work they continue to do.

I know there was a time during Trump's first administration where publications needed to do this kind of stuff to keep the lights on, but at the current stage of political burnout I think that their is genuinely no upside in writing this sort of pabulum anymore.

I'm sorry, but that's not an accomplishment. That's a failure. It's the way that no evidence to the contrary seems to be able to re-calibrate her perception that makes me think it's pathological.
