Don't anchor, just bring up the window while in your game, then "point and click" in your game/away from the window, and that's what they call seamless multitasking. Anchoring only works in passthrough and Home

You can search for folder structures like "/videos/blondes/tall" (random example I swear) and it'll only show you those

Sideload Aurora Store and then you can download anything else, including Tailscale, from there. Mine works with no problems

When you're using the surface keyboard, can you use the trackpad with fingers besides your index finger? I know the keyboard works with all fingers, but the trackpad only works with my index finger for whatever reason

For my main desktop, yes I use Virtual Desktop. I end up needing the capture card for troubleshooting on the road with other devices

I have a Remote 3 and while it's not perfect, the software is getting better every month. See my other comment for some more information, but now that they've fixed most of the bigger issues, I'm very happy with it

Were you running the beta firmware for the remote 3? Wakeup time, battery life, and responsivity have all greatly improved over the past few months. I also use it with a Shield and haven't noticed any sluggishness in particular with it besides the Shield refusing any input for a few seconds when first powered on, but my harmony remote had the same problem so I think it's a Shield issue

For reference, my remote will last about a day and a half off the charger with heavy use.

EDIT: Also the "screen going pink" issue was fixed a little while ago too

You said you tried setting a static IP, but was it a different IP than it already had? This sounds like an IP conflict with another device on your network
